Ok, I admit it. I forgot about Ross. The problem I have with Ross is that you really need a medium chunk of time (without kids!!) to search the racks for the perfect find. It is not a store you can be in and out of in 15 minutes. Well, maybe YOU can, but I can't. So, I kind of forgot about Ross, unfortunately.
However, I was in need of some exercise clothes, and not wanting to part with $60 for a pair of Nike pants and $30 for a top that would just be sweat in and washed repeatedly, I remembered Ross. I figured they would have some decent work out clothes, I didn't need name brands, but I knew they would have some, and I was NOT disappointed.
It took me a minute or two to get my bearings and figure out where the workout clothes were, but when I found them, I saw Nike, Adidas, and Reebok, just to name a few brands. Many of the tags said the original price was $60-70 for the bottoms but were selling for around $15!! I was able to get several tops for $5.99. These are pricesI can live with.
These may have been last years styles, but I couldn't tell. Instead of only being able to buy one new thing, I got 4! I was very pleased and still spent less than I would have at Fred Meyer or Target.
But here is what I think I'm going to do next time I go to Ross: They have such a nice selection of home decor and linens. These may not be top quality, but I could plop down $100 or less and re-do my downstairs bathroom with pictures, towels and maybe even a shelf and accessories.
So don't forget about Ross. There are some great deals here!
