We arrived at the restaurant about 8:30pm to find a parking lot full of cars and harleys. The restaurant consisted of a full liquor bar segregated off by a 3/4 wall from the main restaurant area. The bar was pretty full as was the restaurant. (Good sign to me.) The place looked exactly lie I expected it to look, a clean, well lived in place, full of personality. \r

I was impressed to see that the namesake Rosie was really there, hard working, serving, bartending, greeting, & conversing with her patrons! The staff was full of family obviously extending generations when you hear someone refer to Rosie as ""Grandma"".\r

We ordered steamed littlenecks w/drawn butter and crab and cheese poppers for appetizer, My wife ordered a fried mahi sandwich, my son the typical 4 year olds meal of grilled cheese, and I ordered the stuffed baked sea scallops.\r
\r
Clams were perfectly steamed and were great! The poppers were awesome! (I only got a few my wife gobbled them up!) My wife's sandwich came out grilled by accident, typical of her she didn't say a thing and boy was she happy. She ate the whole sandwich and didn't even offer a bite! (Not normal for her at all) She said the sandwich was very good. My scallops came out looking great. It was a full plate of about 10 large scallops circled around homemade seafood stuffing. (It was very close to a scallop dish I make except it was missing white wine) The meal couldn't have been better! \r
\r
Rosie and her family made us feel at home! Rosie also made it a point to meet her guests and learn their names even to the point of introducing my son to another little girl in the restaurant. Rosie is full of life and loves to have fun and this shows by her restaurant. \r
\r
We will in no doubt be visiting this restaurant often. The place is definitely a local favorite for good seafood and drinks for all groups of people. I highly recommend trying this place. You will defiantly get your moneys worth here.\r

Thank you Rosie!!!
