Horrible Customer Service 4/16/2009

I would love to have been able to taste the baked goods. Unfortunately, when I telephoned to place an order, the woman was so incredibly rude to me for no reason (I admit when I deserve it), that I refuse to give them my business. Such inappropriate, undeserved rudeness is unnecessary and shows something of the quality of people behind this bakery counter. more

Not Afraid of Butter 5/18/2006

Leave your arteries at the door (all right, we know you need them) when you walk into Rosie's Bakery. Their selection of baked goods is fabulous and mostly excellent tasting; the cookies are classic and buttery; the cakes are dangerous to even look at. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. You can also get coffee and espresso drinks, which is good because you might need to rest after eating your mufffin. more

Rosie's Bakery 4/24/2006

Rosie's Bakery is the closest thing there is to a fixture in Cambridge. From birthdays to weddings, from baptisms to bar mitzvahs, they have the imagination and recipes that have coated our collective sweet teeth. The cream cheese carrot cake is a definite taste melt. The chocolate layer cake is geologically layered. There is no turning back and after a few of their premiere deserts, shifting sideways may also be in doubt. more

Wow!! Best Bakery in Boston 9/27/2005

I can't even write about Rosie's without salivating. When you walk past the bakery you are overpowered by this rich, creamy, buttery, sugary smell that draws you into the store. They sell cookies, cakes, brownies, and other delectable treats. I had my wedding cake made here and received dozens of compliments on the cake from individuals who have very sophisticated palates. The cake is very firm and buttery rich. The frosting is creamy and not overly sugary. Customer service here is great. They have numerous fillings for the cake and are willing to work with people who have food allergies. I will always buy cakes at Rosie's. more
