Having lived in North Carolina for five years, I can say this is the closest you can get to real NC BBQ this far north. They haven't mastered the hush puppies or slaw yet, bu the BBQ with tableside viniger-based sauce, is right on the money. The quality of the meat used is even better than some NC grease joints! Brisket is also great, if a bit smokey for some novice tastebuds. Would love to see smoked tuna, bluefish, etc.
