Rosewood Terrace Care & Rehab

My dad was at another facility in the area that literally looked like a very nice hotel but unfortunately the service and care was more like something out of a very bad movie. I am shocked by the negative reviews that are posted. Rosewood isn't as fancy as the other facility but the care was by far superior. The nursing staff was great and the therapy people were tops. My dad didn't progress at all at the other place but within a few days at Rosewood he was walking, eating better and much happier. The facility staff was always courteous and always asking what they could do for my dad and us. Before my dad went home, the facility sent a staff member to his house to measure the house and take pictures just to make sure he was okay and ready to go home. Talk about going the extra mile! I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs rehabilitation before going home. more

The experienced I witnessed was not only scary,but sad. I went to visit my in-law. While I was there his needs were not being met, nor cared for properly. The staff i.e.; nurse,supervisor as well as D.O.N didn't even attempt to answer questions that were asked from my relative. I was honestly scared to leave him. Thank God he has left the facility and god willing will never go back. Cons: Uncaring Staff more

We recently placed a loved one at this facility. The stay was very frustrating in that it is not designed for a short term stay. Most of the residents are long term causing total chaos in the halls with the line up of drugged residents in wheelchairs. Residents are allowed to be in the parking lot unsupervised which is very dangerous. They also can go into any room even when doors are closed. The staff which is knowledgeable is very slow to respond to health matters. My friend was there for 8 days and only saw a doctor once even though he had several issues that would require a doctor to see him. I would avoid this place. I recently had the need for rehabilitation services. I was recommended Rosewood Rehabilitation from the case manager at Mercy San Juan. Upon my arrival the facility was clean, the staff were friendly, and I was pleasantly surprised. I received therapy in a comfortable room with a lot of helpful professional staff. I like many of you never wanted to end up in the hospital or in rehab for anything, but when the need occurred Rosewood exceeded my expectations. Rosewood is not home, but what they did do is get me better so I could go back there. I highly recommend them! Rosewood terrace care & rehab were the resident comes first . The staff are top notch walk in and see it for your self have some starbucks coffee and let them take all your worrys away about putting your loved ones in there care more

Very clean facilitiy. Great homeward bound program. Residents are very happy and seem to recover fast. more
