Roses Stores

I was shopping in the store on 9/11/2011 around 5:00. I had picked up several items, one item was maxwell house coffee original. The label on shelf said it was $3.25, there was another maxwell house coffee that was next to it for $4.00. I read each label and determined that I did in fact have the correct $3.25 one. When I proceded to check out it rang up as $4.00. I told the clerk that it was priced $3.25 on the shel,f he proceded to call for a price check. The manager Justin called back and said it $4.00. I told him stay where he was and walked all the way back there with a bad hip to show him the price label and the difference of the two coffees. He showed me that the other had a price gun sticker over it and that this one should be the same price. And then said that people pull those price stickers off bascically accusing me of doing just that. !!!!! I have worked in retail management myself and for .75 cents I would have given it to the customer and fixed the label so the old price was marked out completely.I suggested that they should do just that but they didn't care. Roses in Murfreesboro TN has LOST THIS CUSTOMER FOREVER !!!!!!!! I had to give them a rating of one star but really they deserve none!!!! more

While shopping at Roses on March 20, 2011 at 5pm. The manager Chad Jones approached my Husband with a pair of size 10 old worn shoes stating "" I have you on camera taking off these shoes and putting on the ones you currently have on"". The shoes the my husband had on was a pair of Timberline Boot that are a size 12 and are 3 yrs old. Which is clearly not something this stores sells. When ask to show the video Chad refused. Not only did he refuses to show the video, he also refused to call Murfreesboro Police Department and refused to give his name. Which I latter on obtained that from one of the staff. Two customer that over heard the commotion called the police. Once explaining the story to the office, Chad's story had changed. Telling the officer A customer approached him stating he saw this man taking off these shoes and putting on some new ones. Which is clearly not what was said when he approached my husband. Let just say I will NEVER SHOP at this store again. And will tell any and everyone I know not to shop here. \r more

NOW THAT MY BABY IS 9MONTHS IM TAKING HER BIG GIRL CLOTHES OUT OF STORAGE!! I HAD A BABY OUTFIT(6-9MONTHS) $5 THAT WAS PURCHASED FROM ROSES LAST YEAR BY MY MOTHER. THE SECURITY TAG WAS LEFT ON THE OUTFIT AND I DIDNT NOTICE IT UNTIL TWO WEEKS AGO I TRIED TO TAKE OFF THE SECURITY TAG MYSELF BUT IT CAUSED A HOLE IN THE OUTFIT SO I TOOK THE OUTFIT BACK TO ROSES TO SEE IF THEY CAN REMOVE THE SECURITY. THE MANAGER AGREED TO TAKE THE S/T OFF, WHILE DOING SO MY MOTHER ASKED IF IT COULD BE EXCHANGED THE MANAGER SAID NO B/C IT WAS PURCHASED OVER A YR AGO MY MOTHER SAID TO THE MANAGER IT SHOULDNT MATTER ITS SILL IN THE SYSTEM THE MANAGER THEN SAID WELL I LET YOU HAVE THE ITEM!!! THATS WHEN I SAID WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU LET ME HAVE THE ITEM, HE SAID WELL YOU BROUGHT IT TO THE STORE WITH A SECURITY TAG, IS THE TRUTH GOING TO COME OUT NOW??!! MY MOM SAID TO HIM I HOPE YOURE NOT TRYING SAY WE STOLE THIS DAMN THING, THATS WHEN HE SAID GET OUT OFF MY STORE FOR CURSING OR I'LL CALL THE POLICE I TOLD HIM TO GIVE ME THE DM/VP PHONE NUMBER WHEN THE POLICE ARRIVED THE MANAGER PRETEND NOT TO KNOW THE DM # AND HE HAD TO LOOK FOR IT, HE DID NOT GIVE ME THE DM # HE GAVE ME THE STORE #. HE SHOULDNT HAVE TAKEN THE TAG OFF IF HE THOUGHT IT WAS STOLEN. IM SURE THIS ISNT THE FIRST TIME THAT THE ASSOCIATES LEFT A SECURITY TAG ON AN ITEM. more
