I recently had surgery preformed by one of the Surgeons that treats me from the Rosalind Podiatry Clinic. I found the students VERY enthusiastic and VERY eager to learn. The surgeons (Dr Wu and Dr. Yorath) and very kind and knowledgable and have been nothing but excellent in providing patient care to me. It is a little unnerving initially to be seen by 3-4 students at a time prior to the Docs entrance....but you get used to it quick. I have spoken to a number of students on my many visits to the school's clinic and never heard a disgruntled word from one of them. BTW, for those that need it, this clinic preforms surgery at no price to the patient (if it is done at the clinic). These days, that is amazing, it is difficult to get specialized care these days if you are poor or uninsured. more

It is a med school after all 2/25/2006

This school is know to be the number one school in the nation for putting their students in debt. Teaching is alright most of the time, but tuition bites. Almost impossible to receive any scholarships. The school makes you print your own notes, and there are a lot of them. They say it's for your own good, but it is b.s. On the other hand, it is a still pretty well known med school, it teaches you well for USMLE Step 1. Tough choice. PROS: Teach well for step 1 CONS: Location could be better and campus lacks entertainment more
