Everyone in the salon is extremely talented and super friendly. I go to Rosa for cut and color---and always walk out of there soo happy--feeling gorgeous!!!

I was with charles for 10 years n hhe just blew me off, leaving me stuck to find a new hairdrresser I keep reading about charles , but i cant forgive him, i had to go thru a do...

I've been a client of Rosa for many years. I don't trust anyone else with my hair. I've been through many short cuts & she knows how to give the look you want. She has sharp hands always knows the newest hair trends. The staff at Studio is amazing makes you feel right at home. Thank you Rosa for always keep me on the Cutting edge with my hair cuts & color. more

Rosa has magic hands!! 10/17/2010

I've been Rosa's client for 10 years and have followed her from her previous salon to now her own salon together with Studio Artur. She is simply the best! Her artistic background--makes her a professional at innovated cuts to gorgeous color and perfect up-do's. My whole family goes to her because they state no one cuts like Rosa--my hair always grows in perfectly--she has magic hands!! From her amazing blowdry's to her welcoming personality --- I highly recommend her---you will not be disappointed!! And you will get tons of compliments :)! I also have say that everyone at Rosa Martinez for Studio Artur salon is wonderful, friendly and all talented---its always pleasure walking in there-- they make you feel like family :)!! more

I was searching the web for best of philly salons, and studio artur came up in jenkintown, I was really taken back by what i read. It wasn't about studio artur, it was about charles pickens, he was everywhere on the web. Pros: EVERYTHING more

Charles is a very talented hairdresser. I highly recommend him for both cut and coloring of which he does an excellent job in both. He really is wonderful. Also, he is nice and so is the staff at Rosa Martinez. He has moved to another location in Jenkintown for those that don't know (on Johnson Street in the Courtyard). Pros: Great Hairdresser more

I finally was able to reach Charles, He relocated to another Salon in Jenkintown, He gave me his cell# so I could call him direct and told me to pass it on, that he wanted to book his appts. so there would be no problems during the transition, I'm so happy to have him back, my color is a mess. 2675937508 is his # Pros: charles more

I have the worst curly hair i was affraid to even get a haircut, just bad, frizzy , yuk. I bumped into a woman with great looking curly hair, and she said charles at studio arthur does her hair, i booked an appt. and went to see him this week, nervious is an understatement, after a consult he said to get shampooed, i said your going to cut it wet, what about shrinkage, he told not to worry to trust him, so i did, i left with the best haircut i think i've ever had, i can't believe how nice my hair is now,i just had to share my experience with everyone, next week im looking forward to my color appointment, thank you so much charles. GREAT HAIRCUT 10/14/2009

I HAD MY HAIR DONE WITH CHARLES YESTERDAY, I WAS UNHAPPY WITH MY CURRENT STYLIST, AND CHARLES WAS UP NEXT AS RECOMMENED BY EVERYBODY I KNOW. HE WAS GREAT AND VERY CONFIDENT THAT HE COULD MAKE ME HAPPY, HE DID I LOVE IT, IT'S A REAL STYLE, I DON'T KNOW HOW HE DID IT BECAUSETHERE WASN'T THAT MUCH HAIR ON THE FLOOR, WHATEVR HE FLICKED AND ATTACKED MY HAIR, I LOVE IT, I RECOMMEND CHARLES, GREAT PERSONALITY ALSO, DOSEN'T HURT TO HAVE FUN WHILE GETTING A SERVICE. I have what i thought was frizzy bad every day hair, until I met Charles, thank God for the internet, I was desperate to find a hairstylist who could tame my mane, His name just poped up everywhere,so after a consultation, I was having a keritin treatment and a haircut, ""AMAZING"" I getting to go back for some highlights. highly recomend. LOVE IT! 7/7/2009

I was refered to Charles at the studio by a couple of my co-workers, I read reviews about him on line and decided it was time for my change, I saw him last week, for what turned out to be a most enjoyable experience, he changed my style just enough to really make a difference, without scalping me, I love it, & will confidently send anyone I know to him, thanks Charles. best haircut ever 4/17/2009

I read an article in a local paper on this salon and made an appointment a few months later. Rosa was amazing!! I have really curly hair and she gave me a great cut that made it frizz free and so stylish. I get compliments on the cut all the time. As I sat there, I realized that all the stylist are good and I would feel comfortable with any of them. Although, Rosa will be my girl for now! more

It was my first time at studio artur in jenkintown. I found the salon with google, there was a bunch of positive reviews about charles, but i wanted artur, so i drove from the city to jenkintown to fit my time slot. i was very happy with my hairstyle and color, but i have to say,as i watched the salon movement for my time spent, i couldn't keep my eyes off this stylist,he was cool, funny and interactive with everyone,isaw two beautiful hairstyles produced as i watched, but what most impressed me was how he observed everything and what everyone was doing, complimenting happy people leaving the salon. as i was preparing to leave he came over to me and flipped his hand thru my hair saying you look fabulous, are you happy with your hair, i said yes, what is your name? he responded charles, i knew it. i love my hair yet i wanted to sit in his chair, maybe next time. i observe people for a living. this salon is a 5 star experience. Mercedes-Marvelous Manicurist 3/5/2009

Mercedes' manicures & pedicures are superior to any I've ever had. Her pedicure includes exfoliation and a foot massage that is so delightful. Mercedes provides special treatment through her quality products and her professionalism. A visit to her will make you feel special. Once you visit her you'll keep going back. Amazing stylist! 2/25/2009

Wow. I'm really impressed. I too have had a hard time finding a new stylist since moving to the area from NY. Everyone in the salon was friendly & professional. Charles was wonderful. He really took his time and listened to what I wanted. Love love my cut. I highly recommend!! Big thanks to all the previous reviewers who were right on the money with this one!!! I have been searching for 5 years for a hair stylist that can understand what i want, I was in a Google mood, researching hairdressers within a reasonable distance, & I found Jenkintown, Pa. I'm not that familiar with the area, something cought my eye, best of philly, hair & charles pickens, I thought to myself could this be the same charles from salon360, & the loft, (he dissappeared about 5 years ago and my hair has never been the same). I made an appt. at the salon only to find my long lost hairdresser, At first I wanted to wack him for leaving me stranded like that, but he explained to me that he was just fried, & needed some time off & didn't have contact info. I believe him. Anyway he cut and colored my hair, and for the first time in years I'm happy with my hair again.Thanks to Best of Philly & Charles I love the way i look. I sit behind a screen all day, so trying to google a good place to eat is vast, let alone a good hair stylist, it took me almost 20 mins. to come up with charles, i had a great haircut &some very cool coloring on my hair, couldn't be happier. koodooos to the net. & thanks to charles more
