Rooters has some really good BBQ! I moved out to Maple Valley recently and was worried I'd be hit with a lack of good food. I was told to come here, and am glad I did!! Great service and the take out translation stands up better than most places. I'm more of a sweet fan, and this fit my bill, but I didn't get hot so I can't speak to that for all you "Man" fans... more

Prepare to leave FULL! 8/12/2005

This is hands down the best BBQ in the state. The portions are big and tasty. The price is very affordable. It has a nice woodsy feeling to the place like eating in a log cabin. For a different setting try the outdoor seating year round where they use space heaters to keep you warm. Do be prepared to wait at dinner time as they are not very big. Why not stop in for a nice hearty lunch. more

Worth the drive & search BBQ! 7/15/2005

This place has the best BBQ I have ever tasted. We happened upon it on a trip to Seattle in the early 90's. There happened to be a review in the newspaper about it; we got out our map and finally found it. It doesn't look like much on the outside (or the inside really), but forget about looks, you are there for the BBQ!!! I usually get the brisket, or some combination with the brisket included. Can you say "melt in your mouth"? That's the way brisket is supposed to be!! The prices are reasonable, the portions are outstanding!!! Let me just say, that every time I am in the Seattle area, you will find me at Rooters!!! I need to call them and see if I can get a FedEx package!! Gotta go! more
