I loved this restaurant. I went with 3 of my friends on Saturday night (the 2nd day it was open). There was "mandatory" (term used loosely) valet parking . The seating time was reasonable for the amount of people that were already seated. The hostess and waiter were very friendly. I loved the atmosphere, the jazz band playing in the back. The food was soooo good! I had the twin pork chop plate. I was praying that it was good enough to pay $12 or $13 for it (and it was). It was served in a skillet (very original). (YOU MUST TRY THE CORN! It was different from any corn I had ever seen or tasted but it was so good. I ate every last piece of food and was full...yet very satisfied.) The general manager stopped at our table and introduced himself and asked how everything was. He was very friendly.
I agree with the first review...the music could've been a bit lower. But overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely go back. I do agree that it would probably be best for a couple or a small group. It's not the kind of restaurant that they would push tables together for a large party--although I'm sure you could.
Pros: Ambience, Food, Service
Cons: Not for the regular "dollar menu-ers" but price reasonable for quality of food
