We bought a Merrifield bedroom set. After a week waiting for the delivery, we received it with scratches in all pieces but the nightstands.\r
The delivery man made a report of the scratches and I called customer service in the same day. I said I wanted the pieces to be replaced; they said they couldn?t do it before a technician came to see/try to repair it. \r
We waited another week and the technician came and put some filling in the scratches. Then he FURTHER scratched other parts of the dresser and also scratched our just installed oak hardwood floor when moving the furniture. \r
We called customer service the same day. We explained everything and said we wanted to return the items. Then, we?re informed that if we wanted to do that they would keep 20% of the price paid (we paid over $ 2,000 for the set). The day we bought they just said the usual sign here and here at the closing. \r
