These ribs are scrumptuous and you can't beat the sides of rice and beans, greens (in a salty bacony vinegary sauce), sweet cornbread, macaroni and cheese, and yams (to name a few of the options). The beef ribs are so tender, they are falling off the bone. The atmosphere is smokey; the workers are friendly, and the prices are reasonable. This is a place that takes BBQ very seriously and prides itself on being a neighborhood institution. This has quickly become one of my favorite destinations for comfort food.
Pros: Inexpensive, Delicious, Unpretentious
Cons: Sticky tables, Styrofoam containers
