Ive gone to Ronnies for the last 22 years, all of my family and all of our friends have all been BIG Ronnie fans. He always took us without appointment, drove us home if needed but that all changed. I brought my new car into Ronnies for an oil change, was told I had a transmition leak that was BAD!!! I told Ronnie that I was taking the car home and I'll call him (we didn't have the $ to fix it) \r \r After taking it to the dealer they told us there was NO leak and that the car was fine. I told the dealer I wanted that in writing and my husband wanted to view the vehichle on the lift. No leak was found.\r \r Took car to THIRD mechanic who also backs the dealer NO leak. I called Ronnie to explain to him the situation, thought at the very least his mechanic was shady and going to cost him business. Ronnie stood by his mechanic so with respect to him I sought out a forth opinion and got the same response. No leak! \r \r I'm not going to call them croocks but they just won't have our family a more

I just wanted to come on here and say that Ronnies Auto is a great place. I came on line to look up his shop phone number and saw some of the reviews or should I say "so called reviews" of people with bad news or experiences...right. It would probably be an auto shop down the street writing something on here, because Ronnie's is extremly profesional, respectful, and very accomadating. They actually take pride in their work and provide very good work and even take the time to explain. Again the only reason I am leaving this...if anyone is trying to downplay or bash these guys, think again. more

Ronnie's To The Rescue... I had a problem with the front end of my car and took it to 2 other repair shops in the Billerica area over a two week period, neither shop could find anything wrong. \r I took it to Ronnie's and they disovered that there was a chunck missing from one of my front tires. They showed me the problem, suggested the proper tire replacement and now my car runs fine. I'm very glad my neighbor suggested Ronnie's and highly recommend them for service. Nice guys too. more

Years ago I brought my minivan there for a "clunking" engine noise. They told me I had to replace 3 out of the 4 motor mounts, $450.00. I called another mechanic to get a ballpark on replacing the 3 motor mounts and was told that there was no way 3 out of four needed to be replaced and to bring it in. They showed me my motor mounts, the 2 on the side are up high and solid as a rock. Only the front one needed to be replaced, $75.00. So I swear off Ronnie's.\r A couple of years later, I found out a friend was working there. I figure if I know someone working there, I would be treated better. Brought my car and my kids cars in for awhile, not major repairs, but I did have my doubts on a few.\r Now the kicker, brought my car in for a noise coming from the front end. Ronnie calls to tell me that both my struts need to be replaced, $850.00. I told him not to touch it, it didn't sound right. I've been in a car with bad struts and you can also just push down on the front end and see it bounce. B more

Great place no complaints...I even brought my friends from out of town who felt the same way.....BTW I am a female and the garage has not taken advantage of me more

I was visiting family and had engine trouble, Ronnie's was the closest shop available. They quickly discovered the problem even stayed open late to complete the repair. The repair cost was on par, the best part was the good old fashion customer service they provided. \r Come to find out my cousins have been going to Ronnie's for years and will continue to be loyal customers. We give them an A+. more

Ronnie's Automotive sucks -- i never learn till now after an oil change -- he hates coupons -- my engine has no oil after a month in it from regular driving, found it from engine noise. lived in and out of town, came back and found he still sucks -- i needed tires at oil change he say -- got inspection sticker and tires okay in bedord. avoid this place at all costs more

Ronnie and his goons at Ronnie's Automative are crooks, and will probably prey on most unsuspecting females. They were more interested in selling me tires than passing a perfectly passable vehicle for state inspection. I went to another 2 garages the next day, they confirmed the tread on my tires were fine, and passed me. more

I went To Ronnie's Automotive in Billerica, MA for an oil change and a state inspection. They told me I would fail the state inspection because my rear tires would not pass--they said they were too bald. I asked them for the actual tread depth, and was given some vague qualitative answer that they would not pass. BS. They were REALLY encouraging me to buy new tires (they gave me an estimate) and then to get the inspection done, said they could do it all the same day. I said no thanks. more

I've been going there since 1990. It's a great place to have your vehicle repaired. I've never had to go back a second time with a problem...they fix it right the first time. They won't do work that does not need to be done. The prices there are on par with other places but the service is great. more

Did a slack job on my mother's air conditioning replacement.\r \r I went there with my own car for an oil change and 2 months later the crack they put in the oil pan blew and my engine seized. $3,000 out of my student-pocket later, Ronnie wouldn't budge even though we had proof from a third party that their shop was at fault. Rude, horrible.\r \r I recommend Sullivan Tire on Great Road in Bedford instead - they're cleaner, nicer, and are much more trustworthy! more
