If you're expecting a great deal of hyper bull when you go to a car repair shop, lots of excuses or interns working on your car, then Ronnie's Auto is not the place. These guys are the best in town, most honest and they know cars of all kinds. From what the computerized techy error messages really mean, to how to fix the bushings from falling out in a classic T Bird, these guys can do it. Look no further. more

Great mechanic, rock solid crew 3/26/2010

I've had my older model car in here about three times to get it updated on postponed maintenance. Once, due to a shop accident, my car incurred some minor but expensive to fix cosmetic damage. Chris told me about it right away and made good on it right then and there. I may not have even noticed the damage for awhile, and even then I would not have even known where/when it happened. Ronnie's is as good an auto repair shop you are going to find in terms of workmanship, fair dealing, and just getting the job done. I've seen classics, commuters, and exotics in there all getting the TLC they need. Pros: Workmanship, fair & square dealing Cons: It's a very busy shop more

Honest and reliable 2/11/2010

I took my car here because I bent the rear suspension... He quoted me $900+ to repair it... He had to take my car to some other place because he needed the car above him to repair it, yet he didn't charge for that extra labor. When I went to pick up my car, he said that it was only $180. He also replaced the battery of my remote control for the locks for free... Very honest and very good mechanic. Would recommend to anyone! He's very busy though and when you go to his garage, it's always packed. He sill finished my car within 3 days. more

Fair and Square 11/25/2008

I drive from Woodland Hills to have him check and fix my car. He has always given me excellent service and extremely fair prices. He is also pleasant when he is juggling all the customers, vendors and workers. No complaints here. more

The Holy Grail: A skilled and honest auto repair place! 3/17/2008

I was directed to Ronnies by a client of mine in Silverlake....on the condition that I don't tell anyone because they are so busy! Well, sorry, my bad. Chris (the owner) deserves props, and if I have to wait awhile longer...so be it. I have several vehicles ranging from vintage on up. All have been treated with dilligance and expertise with fair pricing and often extra touches gratis. If there ever was a problem, it is handled immediately. Can't recommend them enough. I have since moved miles and miles away and still go through the hassle to go to Ronnies for my needs. Just please don't tell the others...Happy Motoring! more

Ronnie's is by far the best of the 3 garages i have dealt with in LA. Chris the owner was knowledgable, friendly and went above & beyond to rescue my Audi from the junk yard i thought it was heading for. Absolutely zero rip off factor here. I got a 10% discount for paying cash and a FREE air conditioning recharge because he noticed it was out on the test drive. One of my best customer service experiences in LA ever.
