Ronald R. Smith graduated from Thompson High School & Heidelberg College. In the U.S. Army Intelligence Corps he was a Special Agent. He was a private investigator involved in industrial espionage & insurance fraud, attended Cleveland State University & John Marshall College of Law, graduating in 1973 He passed the Ohio & Florida Bar exams. He was an Assistant Erie County Prosecutor for 22 years. As prosecutor, he tried over 100 trials & argued cases before the Ohio Supreme Court. In 1991 he was recognized as the Outstanding Assistant Prosecutor of the Year. He now represents clients in the civil arena through his practice in Bellevue. He specializes primarily in claims against insurance companies concerning casualty losses. His background as an insurance fraud investigator gives him a wealth of experience. He aggressively pursues a fair result for his client.
