If zero stars existed, that would be a more accurate portrayal of this ""professional"" housekeeping service.
We have used Jackie's service three times in anticipation of a long-term biweekly housekeeping relationship. The first time, she did a good job but finished unbelievably quickly (our home has taken four man hours for other housekeepers to clean and she cleans it in 2 to 2.5 hours alone).
The second time, we discovered why...carelessness. She left the bathtub full of cleaning chemicals, and she spilled bleach on our carpet, leaving a permanent stain.
The third time, we deeply regretted our attempt to be understanding of these mistakes...
First of all, she cancelled her appointment with us last minute due to ""the flu"" in hopes of booking with us a few days later (conveniently, this was on a Friday before a holiday weekend). However, when we could not accommodate her preferred date and suggested that instead we skip this biweekly cycle once, she miraculously was cured of ""the flu"" overnight and basically begged to come on her original day. We were trying to be gracious clients and agreed...only to discover, as the other reviewers had, that she basically did not clean.
Much of our furniture (which is at present minimal) was not dusted. Then, we discovered the last straw, she had obviously had trouble backing out of our long (but easily maneuvered) driveway and her large truck tires had completely crushed our ten-year old mature shrubs in the front of our driveway. The evidence was unmistakable as the angle revealed it had to be a vehicle that was pulling out of the driveway (at a depth whereby it was clearly a visitor who pulled up to our home and not just a passing vehicle) and the tire size was clearly that of a large truck (Jackie drives an unusually large truck).
Worst of all, she clearly was aware that she had done this (and obviously did not care to inform us) as she was readily prepared with a plethora of false excuses. She claimed she was trying to avoid the trash-cans when there were no trash cans on the sidewalk nor driveway on that day at all. When we pointed this out to her, she then took responsibility and offered to pay for the cost of replacement/repairs...only to call later the same evening with more lame excuses and retraction.
Quite frankly, even before this shrub incident was discovered by us, we were inclined to terminate her services as we feel to leave the majority of large furniture pieces dusty suggests that her style of business is to give a false sense of cleanliness.
However, her conduct now demonstrates to us an utter lack of consideration for clients' property, a florid disrespect for clients, and frankly a dishonest character that we do not feel safe inviting into our home.
Potential clients beware...if you choose Jackie you take the risk of not just a dirty home, but a damaged home.
