I just wanted to say how bogus i think it was to be Let go from Romy for no reason. I dont know what The new mgr in silverdale said about me, but i was always covering shifts and calling if i even thought i would be late.. just so you know im going to do something about this, i will not lay quiet. " I was an excellence retail associate, that being my first retail job and was there five months. There are a lot of things the new mgr did that was against my rights such as hiring two of her own friends on the spot one of whom already had a job, after stating two previous workers shouldnt be living together and working there at the same time. .; changing the schedule to accommate her friends and throwing away names and numbers of people the previous mgr left to interview.
Its too bad Romy will be losing customers because im not there. i had developed a wonderful reporrt with people. and women would purposefully come in on my shift too let me help them pick out clothes. On my last shift i made 96.50 in one transaction to a "guy" who was shopping for his wife who showed up at the end of the sale and i picked out two more shirts plus a vest. Im really sad because that night she says to me, " are u new, i havent seen you, whats your name and youre very good." I even went the extra mile to return a credit card to a customer from Olympic College who emailed her gratitude.
I will miss the clothes & customers but i wont shop there again. but whats worse is that before getting canned i recently heard that even when i was hired someone in the management position said"why did she get hired" she does not fit the group. ' im also willing to bet this was the same person who interviewed me in the past, and turned me away from the job at the time because i had to take a bus to get to work, at the mall which more than half of employees have to do from time to time. So to all of you receiving this message, im sorry this happened, but even more so for whats going to happen to the company who did this to me.
