This place is so great. I like coming here to read a paper of get a coffee and a small food item. This is popular in the Hertel Avenue area. The people who dine here are so friendly, the place has a real neighborhood environment. I like coming here for a cup of coffee and one of their tasty deserts. more

Romeo's Bakery Cafe 3/27/2006

This is a great bakery. They really know what they are doing here. When you walk through the door your senses will be slammed by the wonderful aromas coming from the kitchen. The friendly staff is always around to lend a helping hand. You don’t have to worry about a suggestion since all the food here is amazing. more

This is truely a unique place. They offer a very nice restaurant on one side and a bakery on the other. The bakery has a decent selection of Italian treats, some of my very favorite things. Canolli's, Biscotti etc. The restaurant has the best Italian food on this side of NY. The prices are very fair. Not a long wait for lunch. more

Authentic Italian, great taste and ambience! 8/7/2005

This place is a true gem on Hertel in Buffalo. A bakery on one half, and a full service restaurant on the other. The menu is extensive with authentic Italian food with an American flare. Great combinations of ingredients. Sandwiches are especially good. They always have specials running, and the desserts are definitely worth taking part of your meal home in a doggy bag to have room for it. The only downside is the size of the place and how close the tables are. It may also be hard to get a large party seated. That's a good sign in some ways. Enjoy! more
