Romano's Macaroni Grill

Okay, so it's not the best Italian ever, but given the choice of Olive Garden or Romano's, I'll choose Romano's any day of the week. I have two kids, and my husband and I have gone with the kids (great kid's menu) and alone on a date. We can't afford to go to expensive trendy restaurants, so Romano's is as romantic as it gets for us! We love it! The low lights create a great atmosphere, and although it can be loud, we enjoy it very much. I've never ordered something I didn't thoroughly enjoy, and their salad is yummy too. If you've got money to spend on an expensive restaurant, then you should probably skip out on Romano's. If you're on a budget, it's absolutely wonderful! The food is good, better than most average chains. It's not great though. Wouldn't classify it as a dining experience; more of choice by convenience. I made my own past creation for 7.99, picked 3 mix-ins from the list/a sauce/added grilled chicken for $2 more. Bargain. High on value. Like the open interior & earthy tones.
