We had bad food at this restaurant a couple of months ago. However, we had out-of-town relatives here last night, and they loved Macaroni Grill, so we decided to try it again. From the beginning, it was a nightmare. We ordered the hot spinach dip, and had to send it back because it had a bitter taste like it had vinegar in it. Dinner entrees were worse. Two had Eggplant Parmesan. They had to ask for a side of tomato sauce, as it was extremely dry. I had the Chicken Scallopini. Again, I had to send this back because it was absolutely swimming in butter...not a butter ""sauce."" It was like they poured melted butter over everything. Another person had Lasagna. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out what meat was in this glop, but I imagine dog food must taste better. It's such a shame, because this used to be one of our favorite places for a nice meal. I'm sure there are others who feel that this restaurant has really gone downhill as the parking lot was only half-full on a Saturday night. Absolutely, positively will not go here again.
