Back to Blonde!!! 11/23/2011

After recently moving to LA, I had my blonde hair ruined when a ""colorist"" gave me full head of bleached highlights at a Beverly Hills salon. I looked like a yellow-haired stripper! I was referred to Trey by stranger with beautiful blonde hair; he was great. He fixed my blonde by using 5 different colors and I LOVE it!!! I looks natural again! He also trimmed it and did not cut too much off.....wow, a hairstylist that listened! The salon is beautiful and everyone was extremely friendly....wow, in LA! more

I love Roman Salon! My stylist recently moved there! The salon is beautiful and filled with positive energy (so not a screen). I was able to relax and enjoy a couple of hours taking care of myself! I've been going to Trey for about two years and my hair has never looked better!!! PS: Every other client there had pretty hair too!!! more

Trey is awesome.... he's been doing my hair for 10+ years and I have never been disappointed. He has a great talent for finding the perfect color to make my hair look so natural. I get a lot of compliments on my hair (even from complete strangers) and I owe is all to Trey. I always tell him that he can't ever leave me!!\r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r more

I LOVE TREY!!! 11/9/2011

Trey has been doing my hair for over 10 years. I moved down to San Diego 6 years ago and have tried to switch hair dressers but I can't find anyone who gives better cuts or color as good as Trey. Driving the 2hrs is worth it because his cuts last a long time and I don't have to spend too much time styling my hair in the mornings. I always get great compliments and some of my friends have even considered doing the drive. Too bad no one is as crazy as me, except my sister who flies in from Washington to get her hair done by him!!! more

Good extensions but not great 7/22/2011

I rang because I wanted to schedule with London Scott for hair extensions I read about her in Allure Magazine..She was not there. It was disappointing. . They tried to get me to go to someone who does Great Lengths. I refused as I had a friend who had those... What a mess her hair turned out to be. Seemed like a nice salon but all they offer is Great Lengths? A top salon? Finally found London Scott... now I am happy.. hair is great. Allure Magazine was RIGHT she is an amazing extensionist. Roman Salon is great for color but not for extensions. more

The BEST Salon in SoCal!!!! 5/19/2011

Ok, so Sheri Roman is quite possibly a color genius!!! I was referred by a friend went I lived in LA, but still make the drive to see her now that Iive 2.5 hours away!! Sheri has been colorist to some major celebs for many years, but she is down to earth and the salon carries that vibe, which is a nice change of pace :) There is honestly NO ONE who even comes close (I have been to them all - Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, WeHo, Newport, La Jolla)! Sheri knows what she is doing - she pays comes at your hair with a fresh take - not a one size fits all approach like so many do. It's super easy to park and the ambiance - well, let's just say you want to stay all day! more

Roman Salon is THE place to go to pamper yourself and get gorgeous! You enter the salon down a shady pathway that takes you away from the noise and grime of the city, and leads you into a tranquil, cozy patio that's hard to leave, BUT the magic happens INSIDE! Among sparkling chandeliers and beautiful flowers, the warm and down-to-earth staff treat you like a friend. Everyone here is great, but Sheri Roman? she is the BEST! She is amazing at color - and no one does the ""natural beach blonde"" better than her! if you want gorgeous hair, get yourself on down to Roman Salon! more

Sonia Rocks!! 12/16/2010

Let me tell you that I hate cheating especially on people that i have been going to for years. I don't like other people styling or doing anything to my hair. That being said, I just recently celebrated my 28th Bday and found out my friends were throwing me a Bday party (1920's theme). I love themed parties but not when I am told last minute and my hair stylist can't take me in to style my hair. I had no choice but to cheat!!! I met Sonia Resendes at Crossfit Brick (where we work out) and she heard me complaining that i needed to get my hair done. She said come into Roman Salon and i will glam you up! I figured why not i have no other choice. Well I am soooo happy i decided to cheat cause Sonia was amazing!! She showed me a whole new salon that is super cute and cozy! Not only did i fall in love with the whole vibe of the Salon but how Sonia took care of me and styled my hair. She really made me feel soo comfortable and really made me look like i was from the 1920s era! She really knows hair. I definitely recommend Sonia Resendes at the Roman Salon for color, cut, styling and Brazilian blowouts. I have found my new stylist and friend and will be coming back to her for sure! more

LA's BEST Hair Salon! 12/15/2010

Roman Salon is quite clearly the very best hair salon in Los Angeles (and I should know because I've been to dozens in the last few years!). Whether you desire a truly flattering new hair color or 1st time highlights, a hair color or highlight touch up, or ANYTHING to do with your hair color in general, Sheri (the owner) is YOUR woman! The ace stylists are also EXCELLENT whether you're seeking a drastic change of style, a trim or anything in between ... And don't even get me started on the multiple merits of the salon itself. Talk about a stunning facility! Elegant yet warm. Chic yet cozy. And the garden is not only beautiful, it's a little slice of heaven in its sheer tranquility. MAJOR props to Sheri and the entire Roman Salon team! I'll never trust my hair to anyone else! more

London Scott is highly sought after for Hair Extensions 12/5/2009

I can't believe that the best extensionist in California is now working out of Roman salon. London is very well known and her work is flawless. I have met several of her clients and wow you can not even tell they are wearing extensions. She is so reasonable too. She asks what your budget is and does her best to stay within that.\r \r I saw something about her in Vogue Magazine last month. She is so nice and down to earth too..I had no idea she was working there until I saw it on her web site. We always look at her web site for the amazing before and afters. I just got my hair colored by sheri roman and i am loving it! i have medium brown hair and recently started getting grey ones popping out here and there. not wanting to fully commit to a base color, but needing to do something about those awful greys, i decided to seek professional help. i've been reading about sheri for years now so it was an easy decision where to go. instead of the all over color, sheri hand painted the grey ones with a brown just a shade lighter than my natural color. the result? my hair looks like it's been kissed by the sun, like i just spent a month on the beach! what a great pick-me-up for the winter blahs and my greys have disappeared! i will definatley be back again. Why go anywhere else? 11/23/2008

Not only is the atmosphere in the salon amazing! (It is so beautiful inside and the patio is so cute) The staff is so sweet and accommodating, always checking on you to make sure you have everything you need (something to drink, magazines to read) I went in for highlights (which were spectacular!) and I left with a beautiful blowdry too! I have already raved to all my friends about how amazing this place is. Like I said why go anywhere else? This place is a spectacular find! Pros: Staff is so nice, my hair looked wonderful! more

Bali's manicures and pedicures. 2/26/2008

The lovely Bali does a fabulous job. Have never had a manicure or pedicure last so long and if the weather is good, you can sit outside under the trees sipping tea or coffee in a charming courtyard that feels like the south of France. Highly recommended. more

Best Highlights by Sherri & Blowdry by Brenda at Roman Salon 2/13/2008

Twice, I have enjoyed fantastic highlights by Roman Salon Owner Sherri with blowdrying by her assistant Brenda -- surely one of the ""Best in the West"" when it comes to wielding a hot air gun and a round brush -- just watch her in action! But Sherri, who is known for her gorgeous blondes (including the golden shag sported by ""Ellen,"" so say insiders), is the consummate pro. She is a down-to-earth mother and beauty-biz veteran who, despite a hectic schedule, manages to exude a pleasant, calming energy. She found my previous color work to be brassy, so she corrected it by applying a gloss and a darker base color. By my next session, she had created the perfect fashion-forward contrast between the base color and the champagne strands on top. While my color was setting, tea and cookies were served in a gracious manner as I relaxed in their leafy garden. ?Though I was spending a couple of hours at a salon on La Cienega Blvd., I felt as if I was summering in a thatched cottage with a tinkling brook nearby. Best Pedicure Ever by Bali! 10/11/2007

\r \r For my birthday, my husband treated me to Bali's famous pedicure and foot pressure-point massages. I sat outside in the tranquil secluded courtyard while Bali worked her magic while I deeply relaxed.\r \r The relaxation went on and on and on with a series of feet and leg massages, exfoliation, scrub-downs, masks, and oil treatments. \r \r Bali gives the finest European pedicure and if you can manage to get an appointment with her, definitely don't miss. She is booked pretty solid with regular celebrity clientele (JLo was leaving as I arrived) however there is a waiting list available.\r \r I felt like a celebrity, the treatment was divine and I will make this a regular indulgence.\r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r Pros: Tranquil courtyard setting for pedicures, Treated like a valued client, Cons: Difficult to find an opening with Bali because she is pretty booked up, a month in advance more

Robert gives me........HAIR to die for!!! 7/12/2007

If your looking to get an amazing cut or color you must see Robert @ Roman Salon. He has been cutting my hair for several years, through all of my phases from faux hawk to razor cut layered bobs to asymetrical mullets and lastly beautiful layered long hair perfectly framed around the countours of my face which could possibly put Ms. Von Tease's hair to shame.....(no offense you are my fav burlesque performer) Robert has such an amazing talent. his skills with shears are impecable. I have had my hair done (brutal) locally and called him in tears for corrective color as well as corrective cuts. Robert manages to transform the disaster into something to die for!!! He knows high fashion hair and his color .....luminously vibrant. I have to admit that driving over an hour to get your hair done is what some may call insane. When you arrive the atmosphere is so killer and the salon itself .....absolutely amazing!!!! besos!!! Pros: buco love Cons: nada more

JOAN INGRAM IS THE BEST STYLIST EVER! 7/10/2007

Joan Ingram hooked my hair up! I recently saw her for a cut and color and it was the best I've ever had! The cut is perfection, every hair is cut to precision. My color, which needed major help prior to my appointment, had weird shades of orange going on. She toned down the orange and the highlights I now have are beautiful and compliment my dark brown(almost black) hair which is now the most flattering, rich shade of brown. She's a talented and highly skilled hair stylist and colorist and her artistic ability and eye for color is incredible. Pros: Joan's attention to detail! more
