Roma Deli & Restaurant has done it again with yet another mention this time in the Los Angeles Times' Travel section by Jen Leo who recently dined at Roma with her husband. May 13, 2008 - You can't see an Italian mom cooking in the kitchen, but Roma's provides all the comforts of a home-cooked meal. This deli is about three miles west of the strip in a strip mall that holds no aesthetic appeal. Skip this restaurant for a first date, unless you want to impress him or her with your knowledge of locals' favorite haunts. It's good for big groups, packed at lunchtime, and my husband is still drooling from the pesto he had two weeks ago.

Roma's comprehensive menu provides a variety of tastes to choose from. Different courses are laid out with antipasto plates that provide a preview of the diverse tastes packed into each dish. With fifteen pasta dishes and eight main course selections, dinners have the option of meats, vegetables and seafood each made with the mouthwatering detail your grandmother puts into her dishes accompanied with fresh bread baked at Roma's sister company More Than Bread Sanborn Bakery. Every dish is brought out while still hot and the friendly waiters remain close by to respond to any further needs throughout the meal.
