Not Impressed... 7/27/2007

So, apparently this place has gone down hill since its last (and only) two reviews. They were super busy, but it WAS lunch time in Santa Monica. Still...it took forever for my food, and they let me leave w/someone else?s-they had to chase after me, and then I waited even longer. Then as I was waiting outside (I kept getting run into by waiters inside) I noticed they have a ""B"" rating...kind of sketchy. My food was over $20 for two rolls, one of which was just veggies. I don't mind paying for GOOD sushi, but this was sub par. Not tasty at all. I couldn't even finish my food. Too bad too, I was really craving sushi. more

Great Service, Excellent Prices, Fantastic Quality 12/18/2006

At first when I arrived I was a bit timid to eat there because it was empty. We got in early around 5 pm and they just opened so that would explain why. We were sat promptly and had our order taken right away. From start to finish the meal was outstanding. There are so many sushi restaurants in the Santa Monica area and this certainly is one not to miss. The quality and preparation of the food is excellent and it really shows in the taste and preparation. \r \r I would highly recommend Roll n' Sushi to anyone looking for a great meal at a great price! Pros: Free Parking, Fresh Fish, Great Service, Excellent atmosphere Cons: Hard to find no sign out front yet more
