A Blast from the Past 4/16/2006

Roller Dome Skate Center is like traveling back in history to a skating place. The round building looks like something from the 1950s. The center rents skates and keeps a close watch on the place to make sure that everyone is behaving and acting appropriately. The hardwood floor is well maintained and clean. The music is fun and the center offers special days where certain age groups are featured. They also have theme skating at certain times. In an age when most kids are stuck to the sofa, it's nice to see that there is still a place they can go to get some exercise---especially during the winter months when the options are less open. Lots of free parking on all sides of the building. more

Nice family skating rink. 9/22/2005

I have been going to and taking my kids to this rink for years. It is owned, run, and staffed by a family. The rink has been remodeled in recent years. They have a nice skating session on Saturday mornings that is for younger kids. This makes it nice to take your younger children and give them a chance to learn to skate without being run over by larger and faster patrons. My kids have also enjoyed having their birthday parties here. They are reasonable in price and allow you to bring your own cake. Everything else is provided. It also gives the birthday child a chance to skate with the rink's mascot. It is a fun family oriented place. more

Family Fun and Returned Memories 7/15/2005

Taking kids to the roller dome helps get the kids out of the house and return memories of days spent skating at this rink. This rink has been around for quite a while and still has friendly staff and great memories to be made. The roller dome offers food and skate rental if you do not have your own skates. They also offer alotted times for certain age groups so that younger children do not get run over by older more experienced skaters. The ever so infamous skate parties still seem to be a popular draw for those teenagers who are still not quite old enough to escape the grasps of their parents!! This rink offers adults to relive their childhood days here while also getting a good form of exercise. more
