Since my dog was 6 weeks old he has not only been a patient here but 12 years later is treated like one of the family. I can't speak highly enough of the level of care that the entire staff has provided for our family. They approach him by name, know his characteristics, and are sensitive to each individuals pets needs. Our baby has recently become ill and I've witnessed true dedication regarding the research and care that the staff has provided us. Although we recently moved further away we decided that using any other doctor would not be in our best interest and it is the only place that our dog feels comfortable at. Human doctors could learn a thing or two from Dr. House and Dr. Lechelt! more

I have been with these guys for 12 years now, and I've used them since getting my very first dog. They are the most loving, patient, caring, and understanding doctors. No question is too stupid. They take spectacular care of every animal who walks through their doors. And they remember that every animal has a concerned human attached. \r \r These guys have always treated my babies as if they were their own. One of my babies actually looks forward to going to the doctor because she loves them so. The staff is every bit as caring and friendly. I can honestly say I have all the faith I could possibly have in these people. I know if they are on the case my babies will be fine.\r \r As far as cost goes, these people know I would spend any amount of money they asked of me. Yet, they have never taken advantage of this situation. They go out of their way to save me money. These guys are excellent! My first experience was right after I moved to Little Rock from the West Coast. My cat needed to have a cancerous tumor removed (for the third time). Dr. House met with me and my cat, explained to me about the kind of cancer, and reassured me that everything would be okay. The surgery, meds, and evaluation altogether cost just over $300. The two times I had the surgery performed before in Los Angeles it cost over $1000! Dr. House was also very accomodating by letting my cat have a pain patch instead of pills (because we all know how hard it is to get pills into cats). The staff have also always been nice and caring and were kind enough to update me on my cat's condition following her surgery.\r \r This was also right after Hurricane Katrina. Dr. House and his staff were organizing a drive to get meds, food, and other pet supplies down to New Orleans. That they would go beyond their typical veterinary duties impressed me. Drs. Greg House and Karen Lechelt are the best vets I've ever met. They are so great with animals and with people! Their patients are really special to them and you can tell. Their staff is friendly and personable. Their prices are very reasonable and they go above and beyond the call of duty. If you use them you'll never go anywhere else! more
