Anyone who complains about the salad bar or side dishes needs to remember that Rodizio is an authentic Brazilian restaurant--with authentic salad and side dishes! (You wouldn't go to Brazil and complain about the food served, so why would you do it here?) There are many items at the salad bar I love, and I especially love the feijoada (beans and meat) over rice with farofa (toasted yucca) on top--MMMMM! (I also like to mix in the fried cinnamon-sugar bananas and it's so tasty!) And the meats that constantly come to your table--what a variety! Steak, beef, roast, chicken, sausage. . .and it's all barbecued to perfection! The grilled pineapple is a must-try! (I will often ask for more of that even after I've had my fill of meat.) The appetizers are all yummy, and I love the wait staff. Most of them are native Brazilian or from a similar place, and they are all very courteous and professional. The atmosphere is fun; great music, decor, ambience, and wait staff costumes. It's a great place to celebrate a birthday, too. The wait staff gathers with drums and instruments and gives you a rousing version of a birthday song like no other. You will get especially prompt service if you go before the traditional dinner hour, but if you go on the same night as everyone else from the prom, expect to wait longer (it's hard for me to understand why people complain about waiting when they pick a night to dine with everyone else in the area). We also like to get the passion fruit juice, and we usually get a carafe so we can have as much as we like. They also offer other native drinks. We have never been disappointed by Rodizio, and we go back as much as we can. The Full Rodizio option is a little pricey, but well worth it! (My husband lived in Brazil for two years, and he can never get enough!) Try it for a fun, yummy new experience!
Pros: Ambience, Service, Authentic Food
Cons: If you don't like Brazilian food, then you wouldn't want to dine here!
