I love it!

After going to other Brazilian steakhouses, I was really disappointed after going to Rodizio Grill. I sat opposite of the end of the table. The server would ask the two people o...

WONDERFUL Every Time! Great Employees! Fantastic Food! 11/1/2007

This restaurant is the best! Always great food and lots of it. I love their salad bar. I love the atmosphere! It is noisy and fun. A super place for big parties! The employees are fast and friendly! The food is very freshh. The place is very clean. The food is always HOT if it should be and COLD if it needs to be. I've invited many first timers here and they ALL thank me for letting them know about Rodizio Grill. Go here and you will be treated royally and well fed! The drinks are wonderful. Pros: Positively PURRfect in EVERY WAY! A+++++ across the board! Cons: None! more

Wonderful and Authentic 9/25/2007

Congradulations on a superb restaurant experience. Everything was out of this world. The little touches seemed to never end.........what a wonderful night we had. Amy more

As someone who travels to Brazil yearly...this is the real deal!!! 9/19/2007

It is as good as it comes. Better than the churrascarias in Brazil...and better than any other churrascarias in the U.S. (and I have been to just about all of them). Great food, atmosphere and service. I highly recommend it. Pros: Eat everything and anything on the menu...all inclusive Cons: Careful not to over eat! more

The best place I have ever ate at 8/20/2007

Rodizio Grill is the best dining experience I have ever had,the food was fresh, hot, and the servers were always there seeing to our needs,I highly recomend Rodizio Grill over Texas Roadhouse any day. Pros: The atmosphere Cons: somewhat pricy if you're on a tight budget more

Excellent Churrascaria 3/21/2007

Excellent food, outstanding service, this churrascaria has a vast salad bar that will fill you up with their different choices, the lemonades are a must try and if you want something out of the ordinary (sodas), try the passion fruit juice, you will be hooked to it. more

Avoid this place at all costs!!! 1/2/2007

Delicious BRAZILIAN restaurant!! 9/25/2006

Anyone who complains about the salad bar or side dishes needs to remember that Rodizio is an authentic Brazilian restaurant--with authentic salad and side dishes! (You wouldn't go to Brazil and complain about the food served, so why would you do it here?) There are many items at the salad bar I love, and I especially love the feijoada (beans and meat) over rice with farofa (toasted yucca) on top--MMMMM! (I also like to mix in the fried cinnamon-sugar bananas and it's so tasty!) And the meats that constantly come to your table--what a variety! Steak, beef, roast, chicken, sausage. . .and it's all barbecued to perfection! The grilled pineapple is a must-try! (I will often ask for more of that even after I've had my fill of meat.) The appetizers are all yummy, and I love the wait staff. Most of them are native Brazilian or from a similar place, and they are all very courteous and professional. The atmosphere is fun; great music, decor, ambience, and wait staff costumes. It's a great place to celebrate a birthday, too. The wait staff gathers with drums and instruments and gives you a rousing version of a birthday song like no other. You will get especially prompt service if you go before the traditional dinner hour, but if you go on the same night as everyone else from the prom, expect to wait longer (it's hard for me to understand why people complain about waiting when they pick a night to dine with everyone else in the area). We also like to get the passion fruit juice, and we usually get a carafe so we can have as much as we like. They also offer other native drinks. We have never been disappointed by Rodizio, and we go back as much as we can. The Full Rodizio option is a little pricey, but well worth it! (My husband lived in Brazil for two years, and he can never get enough!) Try it for a fun, yummy new experience! Pros: Ambience, Service, Authentic Food Cons: If you don't like Brazilian food, then you wouldn't want to dine here! more

Plenty to eat, but nothing special 6/27/2006

You'll eat your fill, but there's nothing to recommend the restaurant. Grilled meats make the parade and they're OK. Nothing inventive or flavorful. And because of that, it's not worth the price. The salad bar has some interesting items and more character than the meat. Pros: Plenty of grilled meat Cons: nothing special about the food more

Worth the wait 3/28/2006

During our last convention at SLC we stopped in for a late bit to eat and what a treat! Great food and the service was good. The wait staff was a little slow at first, but the food made up for it! more

Poor Service I have ever seen 3/14/2006

We made reservations and were not seated until 45 minutes after our original time. It was our senior prom and the drinks were dropped on the floor and splashed all over us. They would not give us a discount for the meal, they would not pay for dry cleaning. It was a waste of money. Don't waste your time! Cons: Expensive, Poor service, Loud/crowded more

A great place for meat lovers 2/20/2006

Many cite cost as an issue...$22 for the full Rodizio isn't bad folks! If you like your meat well done, you'll have a bit of a challenge here, but talk to the servers and they will help. Salad bar is sub-standard, but who goes tot he Rodizio Grill for the salads! Bacon wrapped Turkey is awesome! Between lunch and dinner service can be a bit slow, even on the weekend. You'll often need to wait for a while to get the meats you want. Pros: Selection, Value Cons: Reservations a must more

Not Impressed 1/24/2006

I am came from Boston MA, and heard that while I was here to check you guys out. Bad mistake. The meat was ok but not a lot of it. The service was nice and friendly but the quaility wasn't impressive. They have a nice store and some decent food but not a place I would recommend. Pros: Desserts Cons: Expensive, Red Meat more

Love the place. Great service and great food. 1/18/2006

One thing in Brazil that you could never complain --- The food. Rodizio brought to Utah another precious gem from Brazil --- The food. Love the service, the atmosphere, the meats and the salad. I seldom have the dessert, but they are good too. The VIP room is great for company and private parties. Pros: Great Food, Great Service, Great Atmosphere more

Oh yeah! Mmm Mmm! 7/11/2005

when I travel I look forward to new expierences and great food!! This was one of the best meals and fun I have had in years! I tell everyone about it! more

not bad... 7/11/2005

well, the meat was decent although i don't think you really get a good deal on quantity unless you plan to sit for hrs. the pieces are small which is good for sampling-sake, but it seems like you're eating more than you are. i'd agree that the meat is also not highest quality, but the flavors and grilling is pretty good and conceals quality. the salad bar was by far my least favorite. they tried to pass off the pasta carbonara as alfredo - 2 pretty different dishes... overall, it was entertaining at least. Pros: entertaining, variety Cons: low quality food, lousy salad more

A Taste of Brazil 5/1/2005

If you're looking for juicy meats and saute'ed veggies this is the place! Succulent meats right out of the flame are sliced right into your plate from the skewer. Prime rib, filet mignon, pork, bacon-wrapped chicken, you name it! Excellent for lunch or dinner. Pros: Succulent meats, All you can eat more

Very good meat on a skewer... 12/6/2004

Date of visit: Saturday, December 4, 2004 @ 8:30pm. Trolley Square location. I had the full rodizio which gave me every meat, salad, and appetizer I wanted. My favorites were the bacon-wrapped turkey, the garlic sirloin, and the spicy rubbed pork loin, the glazed pineapple, and the fried bananas. There were a couple of meats that were dry but I can't remember what they were, but they were in the majority. I wonder about the previous poster who said the meat was cheap. I eat a lot of meat and I know cheap cuts of meat and I do not feel that any of Rodizio's meat was cheap. The server was prompt, attentive, and friendly. The meats never stopped arriving! Atmosphere was fun. Great for large groups. It's pretty noisy (music, ambient noise) so consider yourselves warned if you're looking for a quiet dinner. Pros: variet of good meats, high quality food, atmosphere more

FJones 3/7/2004

I love Rodizio Grill. The loudness makes them a unique place. The different meats they have on special occasions, makes them even more unique. If I thought they had too much meat, I wouldn't call it my favorite meat house in the state of Utah. They are awesome and the value of food for the price, for which you pay for, is all worth the money. Anyone would be crazy to say they have too much meat and it's too noisy. I love Rodizio Grill. Pros: Food, Service, Surroundings more
