We came to Flagstaff to show our daughter NAU as a possible college choice. Unfortunately the weekend we chose was also Parents' Weekend at NAU. Most of the hotels in town were sold out and those that had openings had doubled and tripled their regular rates. We came to Rodeway, choosing it over another motel in town that also had an opening because I liked how Rodeway had interior hallways and floor to ceiling windows with balconies on the second floor (the other motel did not). Our room was a nice size, clean, and had two queen beds which were soft but comfortable enough. Even though the hotel was full, we didn't hear any noise from the hallway nor the adjoining rooms. We had a room on Butler side of the hotel, with Burger King just across the driveway. We were pleasantly surprised not to hear any noise from the outside all night (except for the thunderstorm!). Free continental breakfast was a nice plus and the woman at the front desk was very friendly. I would definitely choose Rodeway over the other motels in town more

I choose this hotel because it is easy off the freeway and easy back on. The moment I walked in the door I felt welcomed. The lady at the front desk Lori was very happy and helpful. The price was GREAT!! and the room was well worth the price. Very large and clean. They have a hometown restaurant on the same property with good food. We came down in the morning for their continental breakfast which had a variety of choices. We would definitely stay here again and thanks to Lori we smiled the entire time. more

I have stayed at the Rodeway Inn 4 times in the past few years while traveling to Phoenix or Las Vegas. \r You cannot beat the price for a stop over place to crash overnight to break up a trip.\r It's not a luxury hotel, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly.\r \r Access is great - right off I-40 exit (Butler). - Considering how close to the Interstate it is located it is very quiet.\r \r They have a free breakfast, but it's Flagstaff, and there are some great places to eat in town (5 minutes from Rt 66 downtown). There is a restaurant adjecent to the property with pretty good food.\r \r Highly recommend !! more

I was driving from Killeen, Tx to Las Vegas for the NASCAR weekend. After a long day of driving to Flagstaff, the Rodeway Inn & Suites was an easy pull-in off I-40w. Jenny was working the night shift and was very helpful and got me checked in quickly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The 5AM wakeup came on-time. Jenny was at the front desk to greet me as I headed out. On the return trip 2 days later, Jenny was at the desk again. She remembered my name and got me the same room with the same great service. This was a great experience and was a restful haven for a very long weekend of driving. more

We found this hotel to be well-kept, clean and a good value for the money. Everything was in good condition and well-maintained. Not a fancy hotel, but a good place to stay as a convenient base for visiting all the sights to see in the region, including the Grand Canyon. It was located next door to a couple of casual dining restaurants, so getting a quick snack or meal was easy. It was also a very short drive to nearby supermarkets, gas stations, etc. We stayed at this hotel for the first two nights in the area and at another hotel in Sedona for the the third night, but in retrospect we should have stayed at the Rodeway for all three nights. It's only about a 40-minute drive to downtown Sedona from this hotel. The complimentary breakfast is light but good, featuring breads, muffins, cereals, juices and coffee. The rates were reasonable too. I would stay there again and everyone in our group was pleased. The only negative, a minor one, is that the ice machine in our building was not working or perhaps other guests had cleaned out all the ice before we tried to use it. more
