Don't use Rockwall Dodge!! Finally after more than a year I found the Nerf bars or steps to put on my truck. My truck is a 2010 Dodge Ram Regular cab that I use as a daily driver but also enter and win in car shows. These are nice steps 5"" chrome tubes with a rubber pad for the step. Now my truck has 30k miles and it's time to service the transmission. My thought is this is a simple filter and fluid change however I don't want to take any chance that someone will tear up my truck, so I take it to Rockwall Dodge. Now again I've only had the steps on for about 3 weeks. So I clean my truck in and out before taking it to the dealer. Drop it off and several hours later they tell me it's ready. I arrive, pay my bill, walk out to my truck that the services advisor informed me they cleaned it for me. So now the truck has smears all over, either they dried it or washed it with dirty rags, even the windows. Now the big problem is I look at my once new chrome steps to see where they walked up and down on them using them to reach the top of my truck and they had some kind of chemicals on their shoes that stained/burned the chrome everywhere they stepped. I bring this to the attention of the service advisor who was very quick to call up a service tech. The service tech reaches in his pocket and pulls out steel wool, wait a minute i tell him that will scratch the chrome! The service advisor tells me it won't hurt the chrome and instructs the tech to continue which quickly scratch's the chrome. Now we are standing there looking at this mess they have created and I ask what they plan on doing about it. The service advisor tells me not to worry he will get his boss. So I wait and he comes out with his boss who looks at my truck and says with a straight face, it was like that when you brought it in, scratch's and stains. The service advisor that stood right there and watched this play out did not say a word about how they had just caused the problems. I explained it was not like that when I brought it in and they just stood there saying it was. So warning to anybody wanting service at Rockwall Dodge....DON'T!... more

After multiple failed attempts to fix my PT Cruiser's problems with the thermostat, I FINALLY decided to take it to Rockwall Dodge to have it looked at. I explained to Mike everything that I had already done or replaced and what my car was doing. I dropped my car off at 7:30 am and by 10 am Mike called me to tell me what the problem was. Instead of trying to charge me out the wazoo and repair ""non-existent"" problems, he was straight to the point and precise. I am VERY satisfied with the customer service and the repairs and most importantly, the price. I will be going back there for every issue I have with my car no matter how simple or complex. I would recommend Rockwall Dodge to ANYONE that owns a Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge!!! more

Last year I bought a new jeep and since the dealership was 45 minutes away, I chose Rockwall Dodge it was closer and the deals on oil changes and tire rotation where great. When my jeep had a defective part I took it there and the service department was wonderful. So when my jeep was due an inspection I continued to give them my business. After about 30 minutes the gentleman came in and told me he had bad news, I needed 4 new tires and wiper blades. I was ok with the wiper blades but this jeep only has 23,000 miles and is serviced every 3000 miles and the tires are rotated every 6000 miles so I questioned it. The gentleman looked at the tires and said they where a little low but he wasn't sure. So the service manager came out and said the same thing, next came one of the inspectors (not the one who had done the first service) with a gage he tested the tires and said they where right at the line but he would pass it (had he inspected it) They all went to the office and the manage came back and said he couldn't over rule the inspector even with the other inspector saying it would pass. That I would still need 2 tires (but the paper work stated 4 tires) he said his hands where tied. I left and went 10 minutes down the road and go my Jeep inspected and I didn't need tires OR wiper blades... I feel they sucker people in with cheap oil changes. Maybe since I'm a women someone thought I'd drop $600.00 on tires. Needless to say myself and my husband will not be back. And I wouldn't recommend using the service department.\r \r more

I drove to rockwall because I had worked with the used car manager before, Doc Watson. He was not in that day but I descided to look around since I drove from downtown Dallas. The results? I got the BEST SERVICE EVER without them even knowing that I knew Doc! As a female, I am always a little leary of buying a car , but they were not pushy, had a HUGE inventory and as a result were able to make me a GREAT DEAL! I went for the Man and stayed for the service. Pros: SERVICE!!!!!! Price, SELECTION!!!! Colors of the rainbow! :) Cons: Distance from downtown.... but worth it!!!!!! more
