Unethical frauds. Do not give them your business. Used them to move and store our stuff. When we were ready to get our items out of storage, I couldn't get anyone on the phone for weeks! I thought they'd skipped town! After weeks of trying, I was finally able to speak to someone and arrange for my furniture and boxes to be delivered. On the delivery day, they were hours late and delivered all my good damaged! Apparently there was a flood in their storage location a year prior and everything was covered with mold. Items were broken as well which the flood doesn't explain. They continued to charge me to storage fee every month but never bothered to sell me that my belongings were destroyed! It was a total shock on delivery day! They didn't even bring many things because they were so badly destroyed and moldy!!! They are fraudulent crooks and should be in jail!!! Do not do business with them. more

We are glad to have chosen Rockland Movers to assist with our move. We were not disappointed in anyway with the service we received. Alex came over to our house and gave us a free estimation which fell within the amount quoted. He answered our many questions with ease. We would not hesitate in recommending Rockland Movers to anyone. more

I'm so glad to have found such a reliable company. Rockland Movers were attentive and knowledgeable about everything I asked, but most of all they were honest. During my delivery, the driver was a little late but they explained that the last few moves took longer than expected and he was running late. I really appreciated the honesty. Most companies would come up with an excuse and never address their mistake. When my driver got here, he was extremely apologetic. Even though he couldn't control the size of the previous moves and being late was not his fault, he took complete responsibility for the lateness, these guys are great! more

I used Rockland Movers for the first time when I moved into my new home a few months ago. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and efficiency of the movers. As far as prices, I found Rockland Movers to be comparable to other moving companies. I have to admit that I am not the easiest client to work for because I am very particular on how I want things done. So it was nice to find a company I could rely on, and one that would accommodate all my needs. Rockland Movers team did a great job! I would highly recommend them and definitely use in a future if needed. more

It was a first time using a moving company and Rockland Movers was a great choice. We came across Rockland Movers online. They were not the cheapest, but it was worth every penny. George from the office set up the move and provided the onsite evaluation, he was very professional and thorough of all. He did a great job making sure everything was accounted for down to the last detail. He was easily reached and returned messages and emails promptly. On the move date Ronald and his team arrived on time, very nice hard workers packed all our fragile items, wrapped all our heavy furniture with pads and shrink wrap... Had all the tools they needed and I thought the job was done flawlessly. Delivery about 2-3 weeks later: When they brought everything to our new home they staged all our furniture in each area of the house reassembled our beds back in each room! We had a great experience. I would gladly use them again, if we ever move and recommend Rockland Movers to anyone! more

My boss told me to handle our office move. It was a short move from NY to PA myself. I was never experienced any move before. So I was bit in stress. I talked with several Movers and they all offered me nearly same price, but with Rockland Movers it was different in price as well as in commitment. Their quoted price was little bit expensive than other movers. But I saw that they were most experience in office move as well as any kind of move. So I finally dealt with them. I was waiting to see actually how they manage a move. They came timely with 4 guys, took a close look at every little thing and started their work. They managed all the office gear with great care and techniques, packed, loaded and moved everything to the destination, did really well to take out the stuffs and stored them again. I checked the inventory myself and none of the things was damaged and could not find the smallest of pitfalls. Thank You Rockland Movers! more

I needed to move last minute from NY to WV. Imagine my frustration when my existing mover bailed out on me last minute, and I happened to keep Rockland Movers number from a previous quote. I spoke with Julia at the Sales Department and she made me feel so relaxed and hopeful. She scheduled my move for a few days from when I called. The crew showed up in an immaculate and big truck with their logo and info on it. They quickly took everything apart, wrapped and loaded my stuff and even disposed of some loose trash at the end. To start, any positive reviews you see of this company are completely FAKE. If you look at the date ranges of them this is a sure sign that the staff of the company has done them themselves. Read on to hear of my experience and if you choose not to, PLEASE DO NOT USE ROCKLAND M&M MOVERS. THEY LIE, CHARGE YOU EXTRA AND ARE UNETHICAL. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SANITY BY DOING IT YOURSELF. THEY WILL MAKE ANY AND EVERY EXCUSE FOR NOT COMPLETING THEIR SERVICES.\r \r I started off working with the Sale Rep JULIA GREEN who was friendly, helpful, and made many promises. The promise she made of the quote was not kept as well as the ""guarantee"" she gave me of the delivery time.\r \r On the day of the move, the movers were 2 hours late. (if you read the other reviews, the movers have been late on several occasions and theres always a poor excuse for it)\r \r The quote she gave was not honored and the movers charged me an extra $300. Julia guaranteed this would NOT happen but in fact it did. I called to question this and was then put in touch with GALE (she calls herself the Dispatch)\r \r Fast forward three weeks later and I still did not have any of my items. After calling them every day, they kept saying ""its almost there"", ""book your elevator"", ""the driver will call you when hes near"" or did not answer my calls at all. I had to block my number or call from a different line to event have my calls answered. During this whole time, I remained patient, polite, and tried working with them. They not only lied each time and the fact that I had to keep following up was frustrating in itself.\r \r Finally after over 3 weeks of waiting, i received a call from a driver who said he was going to deliver everything the following day. I booked the elevator and waited and waited and waited. He did not show up, did not answer his calls, and GALE kept assuring me that she was working with me, and would get him there. \r \r He finally called me hours later and stated that his truck was too large to get to my building and that I had to pay them more to get use of a smaller truck. Shocked at this, I contacted my building and they assured me that a truck his size COULD in fact enter the area and that many trucks had in the past. After I communicated this to the driver and owner of the truck, he verbally abused me, yelled and flat out refused. He said if I wanted my items, I would have to pay for a smaller truck - end of story.\r \r Frustrated and feeling like I had no choice in the matter, I agreed and set up a delivery for the next day. Again, the driver did not show up or answer his calls. WHen I finally reached him, he said he could not find a smaller truck and that if I wanted my items, I""d have to get my own truck and pick them up! The entire reason I hired a moving company was so that I did not have to do the move myself! Left with no choice, I hired a Uhaul and made the journey to a remote truckers yard and got my items only to have big ticket items missing.\r \r I spoke to GALE and she said she would find them and send them to me. I still dont have them.\r \r I call them daily to follow up and they say they will call me back and never do. Instead Gale is argumentative, talks in circles, is defensive, and never resolves anything.\r \r A week later, I saw the same sized truck completing a move into my building!! Rockland lied about not being able to deliver my items and instead just tried to get more money out of me. I contacted Gale and she still argues that it could not be done. AND i have a video proving it!\r \r Its now been months and I""m still dealing with them to get these missing items, reimbursement for the truck I had to hire, and this company is a nightmare.\r \r For anyone event considering hiring them PLEASE DO NOT. I'd even offer my moving help to you so that you would not have to go through what I and many other have. I had a good experience with M&M moving and I had a short local move. I am not comfortable with hiring someone to pack my belongings, so my wife and I packed our belongings before the movers came to our house, we hired their truck to relocate to our new place. Their staff was very friendly and professional throughout the move. They came on time to pick our belongings and delivered our things on time. The cost was affordable and the procedure went on very smoothly. I am very happy with them and I will surely hire them next time. more

It was time for my client to move out into our group home . I needed to find the best movers out there - an extremely perfect move. From beginning to end, Rockland Moving kept to there word. We received door to door service, on time. Jo was very polite , answered all my questions, gave me a fabulous price. They were there as planned, and even received the delivery a bit earlier then expected. No damages was done. Great job! more

All I can say is WOW, these guys are lifesavers. We hired M&M Moving to move (once again) from Dallas, TX back to NYC after our others move(which is another story) failed to show up. Fortunately, they had a truck available on very short notice. The guys were upbeat, polite, and handled all our belongings with extreme care. The pricing ($5800)was slightly higher than the other company, but the service was well worth the price we paid and I would certainly use them again for any future moving needs. more

They made my move as easy as possible. They were prompt, professional, and trustworthy. I needed a quick transition from location to location. They worked with me to make my move happen with out loss of time or items. I would use them again without question more

I cannot recommend Gene and his team highly enough. They were moving an elderly gentleman friend of mine who had been in his current property for 37 years and went out of their way to make sure all was done in a sensitive and very curteous fashion. They packed very carefully and then unpacked at the other end without any fuss and always a smile! A big thank you for making it all so easy and less stressful for him! more

I am surprised that they have such great reviews.. I recently moved from Pennsylvania to Texas and Rockland gave me such a hard time with my move. I have had a very bitter experience with this company and would NEVER RECOMMEND this to anyone. Firstly when i booked for a moving date, they agreed to it and then they called me a day before the move and asked me to change the moving dates to their convenience( this is just the beginning). Though I somehow managed to get the moving date back to the original date, I had to follow up almost every single day to get my stuff on time. The follow up from their side is terrible.My stuff arrived here almost 10 days late than expected..!!! A few of my furniture was damaged and when i tried to contact them for a refund, I never get through them. Every time I call them, I never get to talk to the person whom I had contacted initially..!!! Extremely unprofessional..!!!! The dispatch staff is very rude too. Its been over a month since I requested for a refund for the broken furniture and I still haven't heard from them..!! Very disappointed. more

I Arrived from NYC To San Francisco CA three days ago.. and my house does not look at all like we just moved! We got a reasonable price, and they even got us a super reasonable price for car transit too! Jason Helped us through from start to beginning. He was super friendly-- oh just a pleasure to deal with ! Anyways I definitely recommend them to others! Great job M&M! more

This moving process started like 2 months ago when I started driving back and forth from Spring Valley NY and Miami Beach Florida. When we finally were sure we went through many different Movers to compare and what not though at the end of the day a good friend of ours reccomended Rockland M&M Movers so it was like this. Elanor was a great help, a pleasure to talk to as well. We got a very reasonable price , even though they recently had a flood they were able to accomodate us very well. When moving day came along Joe, Victor, Steve came, on time and loaded up the lots of stuff we had . It took some time , but they hit the road and we were able to enjoy a stress free moving. They asked me in there customer survey , "" Would you reccomend Rockland M&M Moving?"" My answer Is YES! more

I still am stunned at how this company treated us. I am shocked to read the other reviews and can't figure out how our move was such a nightmare! From broken contracts on their behalf, to rude customer service as we tried to file a claim, this company should not be in business!!! Nothing was packed right, in fact, there wasn't a single roll of bubble wrap on their truck! Can you imagine how much stuff was broken upon arrival?? They broke toddler beds as they assembled them, I watched as they dragged mattresses across the ground (they didn't understand what I meant when I asked them to carry the mattress), they didn't crate our art work in crates (which we paid extra for)...Do not use this company. You may be the next person to live the moving headache due to this company. They are not with the BBB like they say they are. Check out the BBB website and find a moving company that is accredited and you will be glad you did! (Still not sure where all these people think this company is great...). ????? more

The move from NH to NY was stressing me out. I had so many companies call me. I went with Rockland M&M Movers because Alex from Rockland M&M was the only one who asked me what I need instead of deciding for me what I want and need. Straight up consulting service, told me how to get free boxes, how to pack properly, what shouldn't be shipped and so on. Smooth move all the way.
