Ice Chest: I won't go back, but you might like it 2/25/2008

If you like standing shoulder-to-shoulder with lots of people drinking and then waiting 5-10 minutes to get service at the bar, you might like the Ice Chest. I admit, it's the hot place to be in Fairhaven (well, there are only three night club / bars in Fairhaven), but the dance floor is too small, some of the bands have been REAL BAD, and I don't like crushing crowds. Finally, I've heard from friends that the owners mistreat the hired help and the bands. But I don't know for sure. Pros: big crowds Saturday nights Cons: get there before 8 pm if you want a seat more

Out of business-under new management, new name is THE ICECHEST 10/7/2007

Rochester's was sold and is out of business. The new place there is called THE ICECHEST. All newly renovated, new menu and new management. No one under 21 allowed in-mostly a bar atmostphere. I am not reviewing the ice chest letting every one Rochester's is no longer open. more
