Shopping for a plus size man isn't exactly easy, especially when that plus size man is your elderly father who's legs just can't move him around like before. His closet didn't have any new collar-button shirts that sis & I like, plus he really wanted to wear something nice for our Kuya's wedding...well, I found a shirt for him @ Rochester Big & Tall Clothing.
LOCATION: On N.Main Street & Duncan St; major cross street Mt. Diablo Blvd. Diagonally across from Starbucks, & same side as Tomatina. Parking is metered street parking else public garage parking down Duncan St.
MEN'S STORE: Large store, but staff let me know their San Francisco location is even larger! Many assortment of clothes for the big & tall man from pants, shirts, jackets, robes, shoes/slippers, & more. Now when we say ""big & tall"", we're talking about fellas say like height of 5'9"" plus, neck size of 22"" plus, arm length of 36-37"" plus, waist 55"" plus, shoe sizes 12/12W plus...u catch my drift. Hip clothing, business clothing, sporty clothing, casual clothing, & accessories too.
CUST SVC: My pops is a large man so typically get him clothes @ Big & Tall, etc. Recently visited Men's Clothing Broker in Oakland (off 66th Ave by Coliseum), but due to lack of patience & time, didn't find what sis & I needed for our dad. Didn't realize 'till last week that I passed this place so many times on my lunch walk. Staff folks Brianna & Roger (believe that's his name) were ABSOLUTELY HELPFUL in every way! Found a nice button up collar shirt for my dad that fit him perfectly. They gave me their catalog to browse & advised orders can be done online/phone, shipped to their location, & then just pick up from them to avoid S&H fees (or something like that). Great option none the less. Overall high satisfaction w/ the help from the moment I walked in...appreciated & glad I finally realized this store was here in downtown Walnut Creek =)
Pros: Large assortment of clothes/accessories for big & tall men
Cons: Can be pricey
