one of the best kept secrets on the south side!!! 7/12/2008

the ambience is amazing. an appettizing menu that is sure to have something that appeals to everyone. the chicken parm is to die for. two big huge breasts of chicken smothered in homemade gravy and topped with fresh mozz. make sure to sample some of the specials as well. i love the stuffed banana peppers. quite spicy but very apt at curbing your hunger until the main course rolls in. the family treats you like their own. the waitress' are very eager to serve. i use the same one every time i go(hi missy). you will not disappointed. very moderately priced(about 25 a plate with drinks.) fill up and then relax at the piano bar. make sure to try the spumoni and the homemade canoli cake. Pros: always good and leave full. food is always served hot. Cons: parking is limited and sometimes there are 20 min waits. more

Exceptional Italian Cuisine in South Suburbs 10/8/2006

I am such a critic when it comes to food especially italian food. From start to finish, Rocco's was amazing. It's a smaller restaurant with a warm feel to it. We were there on a friday night, it was a bit noisy, but not in a bad way. Felt like Italy to me. Everyone was so friendly. Found out the staff is mostly family so that made it even better. Baked clams were to die for. The vodka sauce was amazing. My Dirty martini was perfection and it was made by Rocco (the owner) who was behind the bar that night. He made us feel like we'd been coming there for years. I'm hooked and consider myself a regular from here on out. Pros: service, quality food Cons: may be loud to some more
