A few years ago we went looking for a puppy. We fell in love with a Jack Russel Terrier and we needed help finding out about the breed. When the sales associate heard we didnt want to buy the puppy right away because we wanted to do research she told us that it'd be the perfect dog for us and she "knew" it. We made the mistake of listening to her and bought the puppy that day. Later we found out that those dogs are extremly high stung, need lots of room to run off energy and are stubborn digging dogs. None of the traits we needed with a family with 3 small children. We eventually had to give the dog up to the humane society because we couldnt keep up with the dog. If we were told the truth about the needs of the dog in the first place it wouldve saved a lot of money and heartache for our family.
