Terrible Experience with this school 10/15/2007

My child attended Roberts School the day after he turned 2 and was there for alittle over nine months (Bumble Bee class). The school acted as if their sole responsibility was to teach our child a lesson of life! Thus, they adapted pretty harsh punishments on 2 year olds! The staff all claimed to be educated in Early Childhood and have all been parents but apparently, they didn't know anything about how to deal with 2 year olds and constantly criticized your parenting..... In our opinion, the school is just a business... And if they don't like you, they make your life and your childs day miserable until you give up.... For those of you with 2 year olds, I understand how difficult it is to find a school that accepts kids that young but I suggest you look at other schools.. more

What a lovely place for a child to be 5/5/2006

Our daughter went to the Roberts School from 3 to 5, and what a happy, delghtfull, and well-adjusted thing they helped her become. They encourage creativity, and allowed her to learn at her own pace. As it turns out, that's faster than most children, but she stayed happy because they kept her busy with wonderful challenges at every moment. PROS: Clean, sweet, safe, and happy CONS: None. more

A Great Preschool through Kindergarten 5/5/2006

Brenda Roberts and her staff at the Roberts School will always hold a fond place in our hearts. My daughter went there from 3-6 (she attend their kindergarten program instead of going to kindergarten at our public school). Everyone knows that molding the minds of children before the age of 5 is so important -- and I truly believe that my daughter's success in school now is based on everything she learned at Roberts School!\r \r They taught her all the academics that put her well above grade level by the time she enrolled in first-grade in Palo Alto public schools, but mostly we love their compassion, love, and creativity. They made learning about everything so much fun! more
