This is not just a Pizzeria. This restaurant has Amazing food at even more Amazing prices! This restaurant is in a strip shopping center, tucked away in the back (next door to Winn-Dixie). So out of the way that you could almost miss it, but don't! The restaurant's atmosphere is warm & inviting, the wait staff are all eager to please, and the prices are phenomenal! The sound system is loaded with classic Italian music, from Frank Sinatra to Pavaroti. My family of four left paying under $50.00 not including tip, and we had leftovers to take home. The Veal Parmigana, Shrimp Scampi, Chicken Valdostana and Cappelini ala Roberto were all out of this world.
On a previous visit, my husband and I had the Caprese Appetizer for $5.95. This consisted of huge fresh jumbo mozzerella, fresh tomatoes and basil drizzled in olive oil. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!
I had the Eggplant Parmigiana and let me tall you it was out of this world. First, the price was $9.99 and is served with either a side of spagetti or mixed vegetable. All entree's (including this one) comes with garlic rolls and soup or salad. The soup's are delicious. Pasta e Fagiole, Minestrone or Italian Wedding soup are the rotated choices. I had the Pasta e Fagiole and it was excellent. Bring some home in a pint!
My husband ate the Stuffed Shells and for $8.95, he said it was fantastic. His salad was crisp Romain letuce with carrot stips, cucumber, and onion. Stuffed Shells, garlic rolls and salad for $8.95? I know it sounds too good to be true, but trust me on this. There are no hidden costs, all of the prices are on the menu.
Here is another bonus. If you plan to sit in the dining room like we did between 4pm and 7pm, all entrees orders come with free desert and free beverage. The deserts are fresh and generally include lemon cake, chocolate cake, cheesecake, spumoni and coffee cake. Not all selections are offered all of the time so make sure to ask. But if you want my advice, GET THE CHEESECAKE! (For about $3 more, you can get a Cannoli made fresh.) the cannoli is good, but for the value, get the free cheesecake.
We definately plan on going back - the prices alone are too hard to pass up. There is a large selection of baked entree's that inlcude Manicotti, Lasagna, Cheese Ravioli, and baked ziti. And each one is only $8.95 - WOW!
They have a magnificant seafood selection as well. There is a dish called "Alisa's Grilled Salmon". I dont know who Alisa is, but the salmon is great. And for $13.95, its even better. (dont forget, all entrees come with soup or salad and garlic rolls. Some dishes come with free pasta or mixed vegetables so ask the waiter or see the menu). Add free desert and non-alcholic beverage if you eat between 4pm and 7pm and you get a great amount of value.
They have the classic Italian selections that include Chicken Parm for $11.95 and Veal Parm for $12.95. For pork lovers, they have a Sausage and Peppers in a marinara sauce for $10.95.
The "Pizzeria" section is great. You can take out huge Calzones for $5.95 or a large Cheese Pizza for $9.95. The pizzas and calzons are made in a room size pizza oven for that unique New York crust that Domino's or Pizza Hut cant compete with.
They have an assortment of wines and beer in the bottle and for just under $15, you can get a great bottle of red or white wine.
We will definately be going back. The food is that good.
