We had one heating zone in our home not working - found Robert Wagner on this site. I asked the guy on the phone how much they would charge - he said $100 for a diagnosis visit and will then will tell us how much it will cost to repair. The man came promptly on time, was polite. He found ice blocking the pipe and fixed it - took him less than 5 minutes to FINISH the job. He then charged us $225 for the 5 minutes!! He said this was their minimal service fee. No mention of minimal service fee by the guy on the telephone. No service of equipment done. Others I have spoken to said they would have charged no more than the $100 for the diagnosis visit. Absolute robbery. more
