Robert J Varich: Allstate Insurance

I am responsible for my mom's estate and was notified that Allstate would not renew her homeowner's policy, due to the fire station that was located on the same street, would not be the first-responder station. However, the Deputy Chief Fire Marshall of the San Jose Fire Department has written a letter to confirm otherwise. Mr. Varich's Agency was appealing on our behalf, however, his Agency's follow-through was sub-standard. When I was finally notified that Allstate denied the appeal 5 days before the policy expired, the Agent delivered the information by voicemail only. If this is how they treat a customer after years of business, that was paying a yearly premium of over $2,000 in property insurance, don't expect you're going to be treated fairly. In trying to get Robert Varich to even return my call, because the Agent would not return my calls, he treated me the same way, doesn't even have the time for follow-up.
