We were seaching for a good used car, but couldn't afford to buy new, We saw a 2006 PT Cruiser that Irwin Auto had for sale so we took a ride from Denmark Maine, the salesman Geoff Cunningham was very helpful and answered all our questions, we purchased the car, only had it 2 days but love it. We would recommend anyone looking for a great car and friendly service to go to Irwins. We went to alot of dealerships in Portland maine but when we told them we only wanted to spend so much on a car they lost interest and wasn't much help.When we are in the market for another vehicle we will go to Irwins again. Scheduled an appointment a week in advance to have wife's car serviced. Dropped vehicle off at 6am. Called at 3pm to check status and was informed that there was no work order completed so service was never done. told by service agent it wasn't there fault. Terrible service. more

My husband and I had talked to Erik about getting a truck. My husband wanted something with power and a back seat that was reasonably priced Erik showed us a leftover 2010 Toyota Tundra we took it for a test drive and Erik gave us the price including rebates/incetives and doc fees. We had compared similar trucks online and nobody could beat Irwin's price. When my husband got out of work on Monday we got to Irwin's the truck my husband wanted was still there we made an offer and left that night truck preped and coated with ResistAll. Which was great for us since we live 45min away. The finance department explained told us exactly what our payments were going to be and what was covered. He even explained the extended coverage we could get and told us exactly how much more our monthly payments would be. We would definately recommend Irwin's to anyone looking for a car or truck. This is our second vehicle from Irwin's and we won't go anywhere else now! more

I have had some really loud noises coming from the front of my car. I brought it into Irwin and they told me it was my wheel-bearings. They had no available time slots until the following week to fix it, but Bob offered to take it and squeeze it in. After a few days, I received a phone call from Bob saying that everything was finished. I was shocked to hear that it was done so quickly, considering they had to order the parts for the vehicle. I came in to pick it up and was again shocked to hear the price. It was significantly lower than what I was expecting. He also took it upon himself to fix the recall gas peddle on it. I was very pleased. While I was paying, Bob went ahead and pulled my car up to the door for me. I highly recommend this dealership for all the friendly staff they have and the great prices. I will always look to Irwin first when buying a car! more
