I HIGHLY recommend this facility. We have had nothing but compassion & excellent care for our pets here & that has included the end of life for our cherished Min Pin & our daughter's wonderful kitty. We have two other dogs & they will not be taken anywhere else. Dr. Robbins, Dr. Higgins & Dr. K are all excellent vets & the staff is wonderful! Pricing is very resonable as well. more

There are two docs there and a several new workers as PetLover says. But I've had several of the same people help me since I started going there in 2003. My experience with Dr. Robbins has been wonderful. She has been there for me with my two little chihuahuas and was very gentle and kind when it was time to put them down. I haven't boarded my pets there, so I don't know about the boarding. more

I have friends that have worked for this Animal Hospital and I have been told very disturbing things about their care of pets that are boarded, groomed, and cared for in the hospital. Their employee turnover is unbelieveable and there are always new faces not ones that have been there for years which says a lot. I have been told the Dr's are very good, it's the other employees that care for your pets who are typically between the ages of 18 & 25 and are there strictly for the job not for their love & compassion for animals and they are the ones responsible for most the care of your pets. Dogs have escaped the property and have been running out on Rose Garden Lane, pets have died in their care, and boarded pets DO NOT get the care you are promised. The personal items you bring for your boarded pets comfort are never given to your pet, they are put in a closet and left there until you come to pick up your pet. There are of course always a few exceptions as far as the employees go but I would never leave my pets there or any other boarding facility as this is generally the norm for the type of care your pet receives. I have statrted using My Little Friends Pet Sitting when going away and I'm extremely happy with the care my babies receive. They don't even act like I was gone,they are very relaxed and seem very happy and not stressed in any way. If you love your pets like family be very careful where you leave them and who will be caring for them. It's always better for your pet if they can be cared for in their own home. more

I had taken my Dog in for Grooming vaccines, and a general check-up. I was very impressed. I was greeted immediately upon entering the doors by a warm smile and friendly voice. The staff was very attentive even though they were obviously busy. The groomers did an excellent job on my dog, a task I can't seem to manage on my own. My dog was given his necessary vaccines and the reason for the vaccines were clearly explained to me by the Techs, when I picked him up. I dropped my dog off in the morning before work; he was vaccinated, groomed, and treated to a day of fun with other pups until I was able to pick him up after work. I expect to pay for the care administered to my dog, but I was surprised by how reasonable the fees actually were. I did some research prior to taking him there and they were not the cheapest clinic in town, but not the most expensive either. Brought my hamster to Dr. Higgins today. Hamster had a strange growth on ear. Dr. said it ""might be an abcess"" because it looked infected. Left the room to lance the hamster's growth. Brought hammie back bleeding and weak. Said the growth was hard, probably cancerous. Said she couldn't take the growth off because it would be too difficult to sew up after cutting it off. Said to go home and good luck. Charged me $46.00 for the visit. No antibiotics or follow-up treatment instructions were ever given. I asked to speak to the Dr. again because she left the room so abruptly and I was unsure what to do at that point. A technician came back and said they did not treat the hamster's lanced ear to stop the bleeding because ""she bites"". I feel like I got nowhere but charged $46.00 to harm my hamster further and get no specific or helpful information than what I had already suspected. My advice for your small or exotic pets would be to take them to an ""exotic"" pet specialist. DO NOT BRING THEM HERE! I will be calling a specialist right away to seek further medical advice. more

A friend of mine recommended DCAH to me for our dog. We were not disappointed. We dropped our dog off for grooming and within an hour they called and said they were done. He came home looking like a new dog. They really take good care of the animals and the facility is very clean. Check it out yourself. more

Deer Creek Animal Hospital is a great place for veterinary services, grooming and boarding. The facilities are new and clean and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. The grooming is less expensive than the chain grooming services, and every bit as good. For boarding they have a huge, grassy back yard that's at least a couple of acres for the dogs to run around. The dog runs where they sleep are larger than most places we have found. We have used all of their services multiple times and would highly recommend. more
