Compassionate Care 6/18/2008

I have taken my pets( too many to name) to roadside veterinary Clinic in Highland for over 40 years. Needless to say I have seen many vets come and go. They have always offered the most compassionate, loveing care with an emphasis on the well being of my pets. Isn't that what we all want for our furry family members. Afterall, they too know the love of a pet and dedicate their lives to the care of others. This cannot be an easy task to endure with the painful loss of the ones they cannot save or those that have come to the end of their journey. I have seen the pain they feel with those losses and have felt the comfort they have offered. With a new age of state of the art pet care we who love our pets are blessed to know that so much can be done for their well being. With that new knowledge comes higher prices but in the end many pets that did not survive years ago are given a second chance and continue to fill our lives with immeasurable love. From Dr. Rhodes to the present staff I thank you for all the years of careing and compassion . I highly recommend Roadside. We owe pets the best we can give them. Check it out... more

If you care for your pet, don't come here!!!! 3/7/2007

I had a TERRIBLE experience w/thier boarding service. My dog was not taken out properly to go to the bathroom,so she messed in her cage.(when picked up at 9 am, they still did had not been outside that morning, & who know when they would have, since they were short staffed & took someone 20 min. just to grab our dog) She was given a bath everyday (due to her going in her cage, which she NEVER does) & was not brushed,so her long hair was BADLY matted & the matted fur & soap gave her a"hot spot" on her skin. One of the employee's said she noticed it the day prior but,did nothing about it.THe ppl where rude & when asked why they did not brush our dog they replied that they where a baording service not a groomer! But they required EVERY dog staying over 3 days to get a bath (which at first sounds nice until you get the bill & find out that they charge you for it, & don't dry off or brush your dog (long hair dogs beware!)) When we got our puppy back she looked SOO bad! She was all wet, covered in knots,& had blod gushing out the top of her head(which we saw once we got in the car,But the worst was even though they saw this & did nothing about it they didn't even tell US about it before we left!! Our dog has been boarded before (not here) & we NEVER had this issue. She was so scared walking out,who knows what they did to her!(she normally, would just run right up to you but this time she hoovered the ground & look like she was scared of getting beat) When she came home her urine was bright yellow (sign of dehygration) & Now she has to be on med's for 2 wks for her sore & has to have it cleaned every 2 hours! I f u luv your pet don't go here! more

Roadside Veterinary Clinic 9/9/2005

I have been using this veterinary clinic for almost seven years, I take both my dog and cat there. I have always been treated great as wel as my animals. I now have my mother in law and granmother taking their dogs there as well. They are able to treat minor problems as well as major accidents and are very concerned about the wellfare of the animals in their care. more
