Riverview Inn

I am 60 years old and have been going to the Riverview Inn since I was 3 years old. I love all the seafood, but my favorite is the fried catfish. They are so small and have a wonderful sweet taste. I like to go around 6 -7 pm as I have found if I arrive earlier the food tends to sit on the buffet too long and dries out. So, I go later when the buffett turns over more. It's still the best seafood place in the south. And believe me - I have been to many of them. By the way - the cole slaw can't be beat either ! yum yum yum Judy / Charlotte, NC more

A long running, well known southern fish camp… A long wooden ramp takes you into an old wooden building that sits on a local water front. Hard wood floors, old wooden tables and booths only add to the comfort of this charm of this well loved establishment. Riverview Inn has been a favorite of my families for years. So much so, I even went into labor there was my youngest. But I toughed it out and let my family enjoy THEIR meal :0) Along with a wonderful buffet (with way to many items to list and a homemade dessert) comes a long and outstanding menu. If you ever get the chance visit Riverview Inn. Step by in time, checked out the wonderful food and remember times gone by. Be sure to look at the pictures along the walls.
