Since its establishment in 1882, The River View Cemetery has served families in the Portland area. We are a not-for-profit endowment care cemetery that is non-denominational and open to all ethnic and religious groups. The River View Cemetery is a full service cemetery, and with the addition of the Charles Francis Adams Memorial Chapel in the 1940s, we are able to hold services on site.In addition to the chapel we also offer the Hilltop Garden Mausoleum, for sheltered outdoor vault entombment. Our funeral home is there for you in a difficult time to be sure that everything is the way it should be.A few of our services include:? Graveside? Cremation urn gardens? Memorials? Flower placements? Traditional burialsWe are also the final resting place for many of Portland?s historic figures. William L. Ladd, Henry Failing, Henry Corbett, Henry Pittock, Harvey W.
