River Rat Tattoos is an extremely clean, friendly parlor. I got my first tattoo there, and I felt very relaxed in the hands of extremely capable artists. They did beautiful work, and this is a wonderful establishment that I hope to come back to again and again. more

Awesome!!! 12/21/2011

I had a tattoo done last night at River rat Tattoos and I am not one of those people that gets them and was rather worried about the pain. They handled me with kid gloves, took the time to find out what i wanted, helped me design it. Very professional and clean. I truly enjoyed my experience with them and would recommend anyone to go to them for their body art. more

tried to get a tatt from a couple of other places an was disappointed with the way i was treated found river rat on the net gave them a call was talked to with repect got to the place loved the atmosphere real laid back when getting the tattoo the artist did excellent work paid attention to the details and made sure my work was perfect i would recomend to anyone even the tattoo virgin great work river rat more

AMAZING 12/1/2011

so, before coming to river rat tattoos, i went to another tattoo shop. the other one said they were gonna charge me $160 for that tattoo i wanted. i knew that was too much, so i left the store. that's when my friend told me about river rat tattoos. i went in, and they priced my tattoo for $85! and because they were having a sale, they only made me pay $68. what an amazing price! tracy did a remarkable job on my tattoo. it was on my rib cage, so it was a very, very rough spot for my first tattoo. tracy let me take breaks in-between, and helped me get through this painful experience(yes, i am a wimp!)as easily as possible! they truly care about each and every one of their clients, and i highly recommend this place for any and every tattoo and piercing you could ever want! i will definitely be back! more

Great Piercing!!! 11/30/2011

Thanks Jessica for piercing my nose! I couldn't get over how quick and relatively painless it was :) I called around to local shops and got a few prices and River Rat Tattoos had one of the best deals. So I stopped in and was in and out in about 15 mins. Very clean!!! Very nice piercer and artists (the owner i believe). If I ever get up the nerve to get something a little more permanent I will definitely be going to River Rat Tattoos!! Thanks again guys! more

New Braunfels Hidden Gem for Tattoo! 11/29/2011

I have been wanting a second tattoo for years and my husband noticed a new shop that had opened. We decided to check it out one Saturday night. We walked in around 7pm and I showed Tracy my images. He quickly made some tweaks for me and we were ready to go. It turned out amazing! The place is so clean and very professional. I had some questions after I got home and Tracy answered my FB messages very quick. more

This place is awesome! I got my very first tattoo here on Friday and they were very nice! It was a really fun homey and just an all around pleasant place its nothing like any other tattoo shop I've ever been in or seen on TV! they are very professional! I will defiantly be coming back to them to get my next tat! :) more

This shop is perfect all around! VERY clean, professional yet chill, and awesome art work. I absolutley fell in love with Tracy and Jess. They both are amazing. Met Tracy one night out on the town through a old friend of mine Jess who happens to work with him, i told them i wanted to get a peacock feather on my side and always have within a week we had it drawn out and done. up my whole left side looks amazing and very colorful gave Tracy creative control on the color pallet and he rocked it with the orange and green,Couldnt be happier. I love showing it off my fav. piece by far. If you want to get a GREAT tattoo then this is the place to go, its clean, friendly and affordable. Hey they even offer tattoo removal and piercing. It took 3hrs to do my tat but went by fast and made a good friend in the process. btw Jess is freakin funny and them 2 together is a great combination! if you go somewhere else you are truly missing out, but hey they can remove the crappy tattoo you got somewhere else or even cover it up for ya! more

River Rat Tattoo is the best Tattoo shop I have been in, and I have been in a lot! Tracy has spent many hours drawing me custom tattoos to make sure it is exactly what I want! He uses all clean, new and sterile equipment. He has a love for what he does and it shows in his work and in his attitude! He is a doll to be around! I do not intend on using any one else to finish the pieces that I want done. more

This place ROCKS!! I've never seen such a bright and clean tattoo shop. Very friendly and patient staff. They spent as much time as needed to work with my ideas and come up with a design even better than what i had in mind. Beautiful Artwork 8/4/2011

I was referred to Tracy about a year ago when I needed some correction work done on a botched tattoo. We discussed my options. After much discussion and making suggestions we came up with a plan. He drew several designs himself and I choose one, so to work he went. I'm a bit of a wuss so he allowed several breaks...very patient man that Tracy. The end result is fantastic. I went back a couple of weeks ago for more ink. I knew what I wanted, sort of, so I looked through many books for ideas. I found 2 designs but wanted different aspects from each one. He said "" no problem"". Back to work he went. I'm blown away by his talent. It was EXACTLY what I wanted. The colors are so vivid, and the lines so clean. A friend said it looks like it's in 3D. What a compliment. Colleen is also a great artist as I go to see some of her work. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming. I never thought I'd ever get a second tattoo, now I'm thinking about a third. more

River Rat Tattoos has the best quality and artistic staff in the area for tattoos! The shop is super clean, they do piercing and tattoo removal also. Their staff are truly artists at their craft take. I wouldn't get a tattoo anywhere but River Rat Tattoos in New Braunfels - and I don't even live there! more
