Well for starters, I think the instructor was very helpful and friendly as was Mr. Felix. That quickly wore off after I paid for 30+ lessons in cash. Funny thing is, I arrange to pay for services in two pmts of $450 each, two weeks apart. I was called every week to confirm appt by dance instructor Barbara for only the first five lessons. After that I didnt recieve much encouragement to continue the lessons. In fact, no encouragement at all. I am not a dance teacher or student, I'm a professional who was interested in learning how to dance. I too was interested in western/country, salsa but was taught a lot of slow dancing music that is probably from the 40s. So naturally, this place did feel like once you paid, they were paid, and did not care much for encouragement, as I clearly needed. If you were learning how to play baseball, you would need a lot of coaching and if the coach gave up on you after a few practies you would give up easily. Needless to say I did ask for a refund for the unused dance lessons I paid for up front. Mr. Felix was very rude and said he has a no refund policy. He said he had been inthe business for 51 years and sometimes he would have upset people/ and customers he could afford to lose because "he gets too much business." I mean this guy actually told me that I could sell my unused dance lessons. Imagine that? Customer service at its finest, LOL, but that's what I get for ignoring reviews and not looking around.
