Great themed brunch 7/20/2006

We have gone to the brunch at the Ritz twice on Easter. It is pretty expensive, but really the best brunch in the Bay Area. They have some good local seafood, lots of bread, really decadent desserts including handmade chocolates. They also have the Easter Bunny come by, an easter egg hunt for the kids (make sure you are right on time -- there are some greedy kids there, and they start on the minute), a kids' room with games and even a petting zoo! It's a nice decadent way to spend Easter. more

The Ritz-Carlton Spa Is Open to Locals 11/15/2005

For the price of a pedicure (the least expensive item on the menu, $35) you can spend all day in the Ritz-Carlton Spa at Half Moon Bay. There's a sauna and a steam room, several hot tubs (including one out by the ocean). You get a lush robe and slippers to wear, and exotic herbal elixirs to mix with Pellegrino. This is luxury at its best.. If you want your hair cut, ask for Jill. more

Getaway in Half Moon Bay 8/31/2005

A friend took his wife here for their anniversary. He said that everything was perfect. You couldn't have asked for more. more
