We were glad to see that this Allisonville site has reopened under new ownership as we have been driving several miles to the one on 116th Geist area. However, our first visit this past weekend left us disappointed. We ordered our "usual" Turtle Sundae with Lite Vanilla. The person asked if I wanted pecans which I did. When we got the sundae, it was topped with something other than pecans (cookie crumbs?). Also, there is supposed to be caramel on it too - very hard to find this. Finally, the fudge sauce did not seem right either. Will be going to the other location or trying another kind. more

Ritter's is a favorite summer time stop for the whole family. Ritter's offers a wide variety of wonderful sweet creamy concoctions that everyone can enjoy. Ritter's mixes the best toppings with their frozen custard. There can be some very long lines in the summer so be prepared to wait. more

I love the frozen custard. It is rich and creamy and just to die for. I will have to say they are a little pricey but it is a nice reward when you want to treat yourself. I have three kids and THEY LOVE IT! Gina G more

Excellent Homemade Ice Cream! 8/7/2005

When we moved to Fishers, we were taking recommendations on the best ice creams places in town since our 3 year old loves ice cream. Several of local residents recommended this little stand on Allisonville. I had never had frozen custard until I moved to Fishers, and I am now an addict. It's very pricey, but worth it. When family comes to visit, I take them to Ritter's at night before the kids go to bed. They have an awesome soft-serve. It is much richer than ordinary ice cream. Their Glaicers are far more better than a blizzard. The lines are always long - but it's definately worth the wait because they are very quick. more
