I have been in Nursing for quite a while, and was employed at Ritten house Senior Living in Valparaiso for a short time. I have been trained as a health care worker to be similar to the EMS or the police, especially in some areas, this is to the benefit of the resident or patient. The Ritten house has many employees who either go to work on drugs, or know people on drugs, and for those who don't they often express their concerns about this, on the residents.
This is not responsible health care, and has nothing to do with the medical field. I guarantee if most of the residents where taken out of their they would be expressing themselves as they never have before, or at least a they did before they moved in. Its a cheap way to run a business, and they make a lot of money at it.
