Rittenhouse Dentists has two new owners. I needed a cleaning and had a chipped front crown. I saw Dr Shirazy three times..Cleaning..Temp Crown.. Finished Crown. Each appointment was on time, efficient, quick and thorough. She has a very light hand when working. The Finish Crown is perfect and was done with a lot of fuss. All the equipment is modern and she uses the latest techniques.. The office is clean and well organized and the staff is well trained and friendly. I have recommended to friends and family that they should return to Rittenhouse Dentists. Their pricing is reasonable and I understand they accept many insurances. If you were a patient of Dr Richter you know his exacting manner. He did a excellent finding new Dentists to care for us. more

Dr. Sheres is a terrific dentist, and I have been going to him for years. He is very smart, and he always takes a conservative approach by doing the least invasive treatment first. If that one doesn't work, he'll move on to more invasive treatments, but he doesn't jump into a significant procedure before he tries a relatively simple one. He is honest, and his work is outstanding. His staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. What more could you ask for? If you care about your teeth, there's no reason to go anywhere else! more

Overall, I found Dr. Ira Sheres to be EXCELLENT! He completed two bi-annual check-ups for me. Also, he re-bleached a tooth of mine that had a root canal approx. 10 years ago. Ditto on what 'corporate cat"" had to say. I saw Dr. Sheres several times and he does ok dental work, not great. Had some recurring issues with the same work. But its not worth the price you pay in time energy and expense for the poor service. The desk staff is clueless and they are worried about getting your money upfront, after that you are on your own. If there is a problem with your insurance reimbursement you are on your own. I did call to talk to the Dr. and he ignored me and had the staffer who messed it up called me back. Basically not worth the hassl. You can do better. more

I have been going to Ira Sheres for years. He is a delight!! Both of my kids see him and neither has any ""fear"" of dentists. He immediately relaxes his clients just by being himself.The office is so clean and calming. It is tastefully designed and decorated with art work. His staff is very professional and polite. Getting an appt is not a problem and they have always run on time. I also gave his teeth whitening system a try and I can tell you it was great! My teeth look really white, but not glow in the dark white. My husband had crowns replaced and Ira did a really great job, he has never had any issues with the crown again. Growing up I had exellent dental care and I am so glad that I can continue that now. If you have kids, this is the dentist to go to. If you care about your dental care, THIS IS THE PLACE.
