After graduating with Highest Honors from the University of Illinois at Champaign, he attended the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, receiving his D.D.S. degree in 1984. He has practiced since that time in Oak Park and Oak Brook. Dr. Ritsert is also the Staff Dentist at Beacon Hill Retirement Center in Lombard, a position he has held since 1996.
