Rita's Water Ice is a tiny little stand off Dekalb Pike, but it gets plenty of customers during the summer - on a typical summer evening there are usually lines (Closed during the winter). They have a large selection of flavors that change over time, as well as a nice range of sizes and prices (a small is around 99 cents and plenty for me!). A nice touch is little bits of fruit in the water ice, depending on the flavor. I particuarly enjoy their lime-flavored Mistos, a sort of iced creamy drink, but that's a bit more pricey (nearing $4). You can also buy tubs of the water ice for home eating. They also have soft pretzels, but most patrons go for the water ice or gelatos. Makes a good stop on a blazing hot day or after a sporting event.
